Storm Spirit and Kraken

I was wondering if you were to cast storm spirit on kraken while he had his ultimate activated if it would still transfer enemies to the original whirlpool while he was up in the air? Even if his ult still worked it would inhibit his movement and serve as a good escape to move away until he gets portal key and just blinks on top of you.

and...... also why there is a section on the forum for game mechanics! neat isn't it. It's a good thing there are practice games cause if there weren't and everyone was as helpful as you've been then i guess i would be out luck.

It does teleport them then after the effect comes of you teleport to that location

It still moves everyone, including Kraken (although only his health bar moves before the storm spirit is over).

And _ is absolutly right. Practice mode is there for everyone who wonders things like this, so use it. Next time there might not be anyone to try it for you.

Pebbles toss is the only thing that I've seen that seems to cancel whirlpool.

there are prob a lot of people wondering the same thing, asking questions like this isn't a bad thing. I didn't know what would happen and ive never considered it. Now i know, thanks for the thread OP.

Hmm not too sure, I'll do some tests tomorrow and get back to you.
If I remember pebbles tossed him up the whirl pool animation ended (Like it would after the spell has ended) But everyone was still in the same place + Kraken wasn't ported

EDIT:

Tested, Did a number of tests timing it as much as I could, I think it might of just bugged out in my game, Even while tossed I was still getting ported.

Storm spirit is still a great counter as 2s is plenty of time to move out of the radius.
