Keeper of the Forest - I HAZ TREE

keeper of the forest is a slightly weaker version of the tree in dota.
decent hero in teamfights with his ulti as well as provides maphack with his tree sight.

key differences from the tree in dota.
-he has lower base damage, and a third skill which can give him up to +60 damage for 5 hits (sucks)
-his eyes in the forest cannot see invisible units, however they give passive regeneration to the units around them

    Skillls

    Skill Build
    camoflage level 1
    tree sight level 2
    nature's vengeance level 3-5
    root level 6
    nature's vengeance level 7
    tree sight level 8-10
    root level 11
    camoflage level 12
    stats 13-15
    root 16
    17-23 stats
    24-25 camoflage

    Reasoning
camoflage is a great spell at level 1, you never know if you're going to be ganked at level one, even if you get tree sight first.

tree sight early is such a good spell, it's incredibly hard to gank tree when he has tree sight placed right, and it can be used near runes too for great early map vision.

nature's vengeance is necessary because s2 owned tree's base damage and now he needs to go this if he wants to last hit in lane. it is necessary to max this spell after one point in camo/tree sight and root.

why i don't max camo until later - you really only need one level in it, it has 0 fade delay for invis with a fairly low cooldown and it lasts a decent amount of time. it's also easily countered, i prefer stats to maxed camo personally but this is all about personal preference. consider going another point in it if you're glorify, it's a solid skill.

    Item build

    starting
    1x runes of the blight
    1x healing potion
    2x pretenders crown

    Later on

    2x fortified bracelet
    steam boots (str)
    mock of brilliance

    why get mock of brilliance?
it's great for farming and with nature's vengeance (+60dmg lol) it's not hard to farm enough for it against a lane.

after mock of brilliance he can pretty much go anything.
restoration stone is great for him because with it he can cast his ulti twice in a row. if you go restoration stone make sure you change your steam boots to int, so he has enough mana to use his combo.

Nature's guise is worthy enough for a second point into it earlier than you're telling people two. Eyes in the forest is worth maxing asap, though I agree with getting the tree skill for early last hitting/denying.

While there are tons of builds for him, the two most common are radiance and refresher. Both are solid, rather than tell you what you should get it's probably better to tell you what not to get; bfury, any type of battle tree build other than radiance is bad.

eyes in the forest is maxed AFTER the +dmg because +dmg is necessary in lane.

radiance is the item specified getting after treads/bracers and refresher is the other item i suggested later.

I really only think you need one level of the +Damage to be honest. I mean take a look at Treeants base damage even in this game. You already have more than enough to deny/last hit anyone early game and the +15 dmg(+30 if you have to) only guarantees it. Tree's base is nice throughout the entire game, which is perfect for denying an agility hero CS (That usually has crappy base to start and needed hp so got crushing claws(meaning they don't get the +6-9 dmg like str.). I did think that tree only needed level 1 guise, but on the other hand 30 seconds with a less mana cost is useful. Eyes should be maxed first because of it's cooldown, which gives you great map-control, and the fact you have to anticipate that your enemies are going to be smart enough to eat trees if they see them, if you have a 300 sec cd, you can't replace the eye anytime soon.

HOWEVER. Your builds are solid, Mock Brilliance/Radiance is used on many tanks/support for the reason they have such bad attack speed but can tank damage and stay in a fight for awhile( plus evasion). 35(Is it 26 with magic armor?) magical damage in an aoe of 5 heroes is 175(125) DPS plus you attacking. With your level 3 ultimate it's (not sure if root is magical or pure in this game) 2200+875(625) overall dmg. I think it's important you remind your players of how much damage they'll be doing overall so they understand the efficiency of something like mock brilliance over runed axe. With Restoration stone, you can double that number, which isn't even factoring the damage your tree is doing to that one hero that he's auto attacking. Realistically you'll be doing 6k dmg overall, as well as keeping the enemy held tight for allies to nuke.

Overall, I enjoyed the guide, and like its contents, and believe that new and even average players will benefit greatly in the ways of tree from reading it.

Note that you need level 2 or 3 eyes in the forrest to be able to see the rune in bot, else the tree just lacks a tiny bit of range
