So we can play user custom maps in multiplayer now, unofficially anyways.

In the map forums someone posted dll files which enable the hosting of custom maps. There has been other stuff floating around the web, but they had two things in common, they were buggy and custom maps didn't work too well on them or you were so limited by what you can do it wasn't worthwhile. This is different though, I tested it, and it works, embedded music, config etc in it and was able to play it in a LAN environment with everything working. And I could go play a official matchmaking game right after. So the question is, now what?

It would be much better if s2 just implemented so you could find custom maps when your searching for them in the public games :3

Such modifications are strictly prohibited as per the ToS. Distribution and/or usage can result in a permanent ban. Downloading unofficial binaries also poses a very gross security risk.
