    WHAT IS ENHANCED HON?

    Enhanced HoN is a collection of ported and original heroes packed into a resources file and playable in practice mode. In this way, you'll be able to see how some heroes work in the game, even though you'll be playing them alone. However, this might not always be the case. Come the time when player-hosted servers come out, I plan to put this mod into the game and allow a large amount of new heroes to be played instantly. Aside from that, S2 has the option to take the heroes code and do whatever to put it out as an actual hero with less work on their part.

    HOW GOOD IS IT?

    Current Status Bar:

    Right now, it's pretty good. The mod lacks models, sounds, and animations that are original. However, it's jam packed full of well-coded heroes. There are full ports, new heroes, and even tooltips! The overall structure of the mod is really nice. It's pretty good now, and is ready for criticism of higher degrees!

    INSTALLATION

    1. Download Enhanced HoN from the link above.
    2. Put the file into HoN Modification Manager. That, or put it into the game/mods folder.

    PLAYING THE MOD

    1. Open Heroes of Newerth and log in. You know, this screen:

    2. Press Ctrl+F8 to open the console and type in "cg_dev 1" (without the quotes):

    3. Press Ctrl+F8 again in order to close the console. Then go to Create Game, select Practice, and check off the "dh" option under advanced options:

    4. Create Game, take a slot, start the game, select a random hero, and get into the game. Open up the "Test" menu at the top right and click "Spawner" in order to bring up the spawner menu:

    5. Spawn the hero(es) and play around with them from the spawner menu.

    • I currently gives a flat amount of attackspeed per charge, but i'm not sure if there is a way to increase attackspeed per charge with a percent value.

    Besides that, I'll update the posts for 1.05 tonight. I'm in school right now and a 30kb/s internet just wont cut it to upload a 10MB file to mediafire (That'd take 333 minutes, if you do the math. AKA 5 hours 33 minutes.). Appreciate the work you're doing, and I'm trying to get Dub to join our cause and finish this mod ASAP.

    Anyone who has played the game Spore knows that you can get some really artistically awesome models in it, which may be fit to work for HoN.     Yeah hes basically 2 Abilitys + 2 Items that you can just copy&paste from other sources + adjust the values ^^
    Same with Centaur(i've finished him already ) ill upload him when im done with Naga Siren(only ulti missing there)

    Yeah you should maybe take an Animation thats stops when the ability ends, and not one that loops forever

    - Mortred's Blur no longer screws up the model.

    That was indented, to imitate the DotA's Blur effect where you get more transparent with each level of the skill

    - Puck's Dream Coil now correctly has 600 radius.

    I think thats a mistake on playdota.com, i checked that in wc3 and it seems dreamcoil has a 300 radius

    ursa's slightly bugged skill is probably coded as a debuff right now causing it to be bugged. i believe nomad dident give them a debuff but instead it looked liked it acted like a crit or a proc because whenever he hit blue damage would show up above him. if hes still in their somewhere you can base the skill of that.
