Item Properties/Attributes:

Activate: Kills target enemy creep and surrounding enemy creeps (Max of 3) gold for the kill(s) is multiplied by 3. Rises minions from their corpses.

Manacost: 100 mana
Cooldown: 100 seconds
Item ingredients:
* Alchemist Bones (1900)
* Steam Staff x2 (2800)
* Recipe (500g)
Total = 4200g
Goal of the item (optional, but preferred):
- Goal is to make the Alchemist Bones more useful during mid/late game. I'm not exactly certain what the minion spawn stats should be - their intent would be to kill additional creeps/harass. I wanted to make the item as non hero type specific as possible - so pretty much any hero who is weak in the farming area (Chrono/Madman/etc) could all pick it up regardless of their type.

5 creeps instant kill + gold multiplied by 3? So you get like 1k gold on every usage? Even without any stats this item would still be too powerful and unbalanced, if someone had it he would actually somewhen pwn the game due to almost unlimited gold.
Actually, Chrono and Madman are experts if it comes to creeping in the farming area (forest). You have to buy a lifeleech item like .. err .. i don't remember the HoN names but with lifeleech they can pretty much kill every creep troop without losing a single hitpoint. If your item gets added, they could move through the forest, kill several creep troops, use your item and buy tarasque's heart(the one with 1% lifereg) at ease, even multiple times.so pretty much any hero who is weak in the farming area (Chrono/Madman/etc) could all pick it up regardless of their type.
It all comes down to the cooldown.

I tweaked the numbers a bit - I forgot to add the manacost/cooldown. Cooldown remains the same as Hands of Midas.
As for Chrono/Madman - yeah, but then they aren't in a lane. On the current map it's normally ok, as in a 5v5 it's not that big of a deal, but it may be an issue on smaller maps / an alternative way to play those kinds of heroes - or in this case it can go hand in hand with lifesteal as more attack speed = good on both heroes.
