Wildsouls that get an early mock of brilliance on the bear. They can just send it to hang around your heroes and force you back, and you can't really kill it. he'll just have it port/run away. the bear has so much resilience that I've never been able to gib it during a stun, either.
I realize one counter is to not let him farm one in the first place, but assuming you fail at that task, how do you best handle the situation?
Early game: kill wildsoul if you can
Mid game: this is when wildsoul shines. It takes about the same amount of time to kill the bear or him
Late game: Dps the bear down quickly. If he resummons, repeat!
Normally, you shouldn't have let Wildsoul farm THAT far.
First of all, don't get him get a mock in the first space. High sword takes a whooping 3800 mount of farming without buying anything. Killing him a few times will delay him from getting it, perhaps to the point that mock will not be as effective (past 25-30 minute mark). Also don't forget he has to equip both him and his bear with boots so that's a big bill there.
With this in mind, there are three styles he can adapt, laning which he will use two units to last hit effectively and harass with BooBoo (possibly entangle), jungling which uses BooBoo's enormous HP pool to soak neutral damage, and mid which is same as laning except without a lane partner. For the first, use the standard double lane control with dual stunner and a capable ganker at mid if he is the only carry. For neutraling, place blue wards on neutral spots to prevent then from respawning and make sure the enemy does do the same off side the spot to destroy it, preferably the neutrals around the area between mid and their safe lane. If he goes mid, send plague rider mid as well.
Also, if he is very focused on getting his mock, it is going to be 4 v 5 for much of the mid and end of beginnering game. With this in mind, it is highly possible to make his allies so underleveled that his mock bear won't make a difference not to mention you can burst damage Wild Soul himself since he only got bear form as a means of HP but not escape means.
There are some heroes that are simply nasty to Wild Soul because of his two unit nature, namely Voodoo Jester (cask), Plague Rider (ult), and Puppet Master (attacks random unit, plus disable movement at speed).
That is my suggestions for now, good bear hunting!
Each defeat brings you one step closer towards improvement.
Its not a question of "how do you prevent a Wild Soul from getting a mock" - in most games that are not being dominated, it is inevitable at the cost of said Wild Soul's side taking a tower or two loss due to being down a man.
However, once the task is complete, its dealing with Wild Soul now that he has a mock. For me, the worse thing in the world to deal with when playing Wild Soul on my carry account is Arachna. The ultimate can be destroyed but she closes in on my slow walkin' bear tank (or squishy non-ultimate form), and usually brings enough friends to help finish the job. A BooBoo is strong but hes only got a one-hit wonder for a stun and he just likes to auto-attack the rest of the way. Once I'm down, its game over for BooBoo and myself.
So heroes who can reach Wild Soul quickly, such as Pyromancer with Blink, Maliken, Arachna, a clever tempest, etc. - Most WSouls will let their bear travel infront of them, and this is your opprotunity to take advantage of

not sure if it's the same in HoN as in dota, but in dota eul's scepter (storm spirit in hon) would throw the bear up for a good few secs more than it would a normal hero cause the bear did not count as a hero unit.
Not sure if it's the same in HoN but no bear is a pretty bad deal for wildsoul and stormspirit is not that hard to farm quick. So cyclone bear, kill wildsoul, bye bye bear
Ward the forest. Find him and kill him with your mid/roamers. Before he gets items on his bear (Mock/Warpcleft) he's pure fodder and he needs to farm an astounding amount.
But yeah if he gets all the items he wants he's unstoppable.
