I think we need to add some much needed improvements to the existing maps.
This would give a more arcade feel, new "smell" for the game and also bring up some new strategies.
This is what i head in mind:
1. traps on certain parts of the map (like bridges)
a. spike in-out traps (moves in and out, when its out it does damage and/or slow)
b. player triggered traps (a player needs to trigger something so that the effect can occur)
2. wormholes/ teleporters
3. misc objects/units that help/substitute the pk, like springs/ catapults etc, that are or aren't destructible
4. use of physics in the map through skills or heroes (bounce from walls, water influence, etc)
could be made as a new version for existing ones.
right now the only "active" thing on the maps is the rune.
i think the forest map is the good old one that shouldnt be touched.
but new maps that give some of these ideas would be cool.
