I would like to know how to make Bramble a monster in midwars. I have tried many builds and I still cant make it a monster. I'll make him decent, but nothing that other heroes will run away from me ...
I have tried builds with:
- Null Stone + other items
- Helmet + other items
- Daemonic + other items
- Staff of the master ... just to find out it doesn't do anything to his ULT ... His ULT is weak, VERY weak ....
- Barbed Armor + other items. This one seems to be a core for him.
I just cant find a good build for him.
Any suggestions ?
Well as far as i know bramble is completly useless in midwars, due to his spellls, and the fact that he is tanky hero, which doesn't fit midwars at all.His first spell is kinda decent for midwars, due to the high aoe damage and stun, but the fact u must rush next to the enemy in order to be effective its bad,but w/e back to topic : Aim for fast behe first,or barded armor, depens on the enemy team damage output,if most of them are supports go for behe,if they are most nukers, semi carrys,or hard carrys,go for barbed, after barded go for behe if u haven't got it yet, then go for daemonic but note that if the enemy team mostly specify on magic damage, aim for barrier for you and your team, which can be very helpful if your enemies got harkoon blades, which rapes any tank atm.So that's bassicly what u must do in order to make bramble somehow useful in Midwars. Please note late game u should also add some damage so mock might be helpful.

^Fast behe? Is that a joke, who the hell buys Behemoth's heart first lol?
Firstly bramble is a very average midwars hero, so while you will never be awesome unless you get lucky and they feed you, just try and be useful.
Helm + Vestments/SH is the way to go depending on who you are up against, after that go for either sols bulwark (depending on the teams again), possibly a mock IF, and only IF:
-its still relatively early and you just won a teamfight and you randomly a heap of money
-they have people using PK
Its just so sad watching people buy mock when like everyone has a behemoths heart and stuff..but yeah.
finish daemonic and probably go for further DPS items, maybe even frostwolf or something would be useful IMO, otherwise items like frost plate/puzzle box (against invisi) can be useful depending on who you are up against - barbed armour too could be good.
It all depends on who you are against, although there isn't really any tricky set up to make this hero good
^
I said fast behe if they are based on supports and others intel heroes that can't really benefit much in late game, helm might be useful aswell in some situiations, but barbed will do better, and as far as u know this is midwars, most of ppl go for late game items in the beggining, for example lets take flint, make him wingbow in midwars as one of his first items and enjoy free kills,or savage on moa.As i said this is Midwars why u want to build bramble with fod 5v5 item build when u can simply own with 2-3 late game items in the start, ofcourse that's my opinion, let OP decide what its best for him.

Helmet of the Black Legion: just good early survivability, but more importantly can be disassembled into Nullstone + Behemoth's Heart, two great items on him for mid wars.
Barbed Armor: Yeah this thing is great on him, just throw yourself into some retarded position and turn it onJust keep in mind that when you grab this, you want to stack HEALTH/strength items to make it more effective. Unless you already have a huge health pool, armor pickups actually make this less effective. Good pickups to grab for a Barbed Armor build are: Astrolabe, Hotbl, Behemoth's Heart, Insanitarius, Symbol of Rage, Frostwolf's Skull.
Sol's / Daemonic is great if you're the first one on your team to get it, the aura for your team is VERY valuable. However, if someone else is already getting it then you don't have to. Again, if you're doing a Barbed armor build, rushing this actually makes it less effective. Getting lifesteal along with this (Symbol and/Abyssal) does make you hard to take out though.
Frostfield Plate also gives an aura that negatively effects the enemy team, gives you tons of armor and also that active that can slow entire teams as well.
Restoration Stone: Double Ult, it works and it rapesMy favorite item on Bramble.
Abyssal Skull: not high priority, but nevertheless it's still a good team item giving +5 armor, melee lifesteal, +15% damage, and some mana regen for your team.
Shrunken Head: situational, but can be really good if there's tons of AoE stuns/disables and you find you're dying without even being able to move.
Shaman's Headdress / Barrier Idol: It can be great early on if the enemy team is magic based, then you can do a lot of soaking up spell damage for your team. However, going back to the Barbed Armor thing, this pickup makes your Barbed armor do less damage because you're TAKING less damage, keep that in mind.
Portal Key: initiation / chasing tool. if you time it correctly you can Portal Key right when your slow ends and it becomes an instant stun. It's also great for just surprise ultimates to block the enemy team's pathing and rape them with your team. You don't NEED it but it can be great on Bramble.
uhh.. what hero are you playing? His ult is insane, especially in the later levelsHis ULT is weak, VERY weak ....It can trap heroes in one spot for your allies to rape and does LOTS of dps, or worst case scenario when everyone is farmed you can just dump it on the tower when you're pushing and watch the tower melt. Remember you win by killing the enemy throne, and using his ult on the throne can take it out extremely fast when it's not hitting anything else.
Builds I would try out on Bramble:
1. Barbed Armor build:![]()

/
Power Supply - obvious item is obvious in mid wars.
Astrolabe - this item is soo underrated in mid wars, and if you can rush one early and the other team doesn't it can singlehandedly win you games just because of the heal and health regen aura for your team. it also gives you good strength and makes your Barbed armor more effective because of the extra health.
Steamboots - more health in strength. also, stat swapping to use spells and make your Astro/Powersupply very efficient.
Hotbl - more health, read above, enough said.
Barbed Armor - duh, barbed armor build.
Behemoth's Heart - huge health and huge regen.
Frostwolf / Symbol - more health, and good attack modifiers.
2. Auto attack Bramble:![]()

, sell Power Supply for luxury of choice.
Power Supply: duh.
Ring of the Teacher: +3 armor and mana regen for the whole team, for only 500 gold. it's good iten. Turns into Abyssal later.
Boots of choice: Steams is still probably best for more health and attack speed, but Ghost Marchers can be great for the phase.
Hotbl: good survivability, but you will disassemble this later for Behemoth's Heart or Nullstone.
Daemonic Breastplate: gives great team aura, and gives you tons of attack speed to make you hit harder with your auto attack.
*From here you have a choice, you disassemble for the Behe Heart and then grab Frostwolf Skull and an Abyssal, OR you can disassemble Hotbl for Nullstone and then get a Symbol of Rage + Genjuro.
Last big item is whatever you want. Barbed Armor, Shrunken Head, Riftshards, Savage Mace, Mock, Resto Stone are all good, just depends what you want and what you're going against. Again there's also Portal Key, Frostfield, Puzzlebox or even Hellflower or Sheepstick, or Brutalizer, Savage, Riftshards, Harkon's.
These are just very loose guidelines for items and of course just my opinion, and you can mix and match as you see fit, but they should work well most of the time. Of course there are other builds and items that work, but the real answer to what are the items to get is it's just situational and you should always adapt to the enemy team and your team.

Don't worry guys, Lodestone won't be getting picked up in competitive, your balance forum regulars have assured it in this Lodestone balance thread ;)

I have also tried Frostfiled plate but no success at all ... It is like enemies dont respect bramble at all cuz of his lack of DMG ... and armor as well ... I can try rushing Heart and also Harkoons.
Everything else is picked up on a need-now basis because they won't work all the time nor are they essential. My idea in ANY build is to keep it cheap, keep it effective.
I have never played Bramble but when I compare him to Balphagore, a tank that I **** face with in midwars I can imagine the lack of dps or utility bramble may have. FFP does work, though, it should snare the entire enemy team when timed right so your carry can catch em with ease.
Demonic Breastplate and Brutaliser.

Well, thank you guys. I think i know how to make him a fearless tank. Late game he just needs DMG and thats about it.
Please dont ever make HotBL or Refresher in mid wars (unless playing Poly and you gonna BD). HotBL loses its charges instantly, and Refresher is not worth its cost because of the very, very, very long cooldown.
If you wanna make Bramble a monster just make Steamboots, Shamans, Heart, Frostwolf, Daemonic and another damage item of your choice.
Instead of making HotBL go straight for Heart, the Beastheart alone will give you almost the same tankiness as HotBL because the charges go away too fast against 5 heroes. Also the FWS is a key item, it gives you a ton of STR which will stack with the Heart regen, and a very powerfull slow so that people can't ever run away from you.
A nice build order would be like this:
Steamboots, mystic vestments, Icebrand, finish Shamans, Sol's Bulwark, finish Frostwolf, Behemoth's Heart, finish Daemonic. But you can change that depending on what the enemy team has to offer.
^Bramble can do the exact same thing as Polly with his ulti and BD with a double ulti, and HotbL can be disassembled into that Behe Heart you mentioned, so I would think both of them are viable on Bramble.

with hotbl early you can make a few dives and can make it later nullstone and heart if you want or plan it like that.and i make refresher+staff on swift sometimes.
Make a Brutaliser with enough attack speed (whilst remaining tankish) then you won't worry about damage.
There are other ways to 'carry' other than LOLdamage. Brutaliser can be surprisingly effective since you will be fighting against carries.
Build damage items around it.
Puzzle Box's CD is 90 secs, quite long for MidWars.
