HoN unplayable since latest patch

so i have a lowlowlowlow end laptop and the performance of HoN has decreased ever since closed beta. i don't have a video card, just a graphic chip, but with a combination of several game boosters and whatnot i was able to play HoN somewhat fluently, except for big teambattles in which the FPS rate would drop significantly, but that is to be expected.

but since the latest patch i experience constant very low FPS even when my hero is the only one on the screen, once there are any kind of animations my screen will simply freeze for ~2 seconds, when there is a teambattle for up to 8 seconds with a small break, then 8 seconds again. i ran every check, i used several programs to optimize the performance of my computer, everything else (every other game i used to play) runs as usual, just HoN is unplayable. obviously i play on lowest possible settings, is there anything i can do, is it a known problem with low end computers or do i have to quit HoN till i can afford a better computer?
