Glorify's Platemail of Absorption (item suggestion)
Items that generally build into 1 thing should have more options, some examples are:
Stout Shield(300)
Nathrezim Buckler(550+57+200)
Planeswalker's Cloak(650)
-Stout can only build into vanguard, and the way the the reduction is set it reduces little but creep damage.
-Buckler can only be made into a mekanism, even though it's a very substandard item(I don't think anyone has ever built it to have it, unless making a mek)
Planeswalker's cloak can only be made into hood, and let's face it, hood is a very substandard item and only viable on a few heroes.
+7 to armor
+3 armor aura(each additional stacking aura, if two heroes have it, stack but diminishingly)
Active Ability: For 2 seconds, you take no damage from physical attacks or spells. 20 second cooldown.
The item allows stout shields potency to be carried into mid-late game, and also allows heroes with generally low hitpoints to withstand a nuke heavy team without having to spam hitpoints. The active ability is meant to encourage good reflexes, noticing someone is casting and hitting the shield to prevent the damage. It is not supposed to make you invulnerable to effects like stuns and slow, but simply damage. The cooldown is set to allow it to be up for each fight, but not be used multiple times during fights, as most fights don't last 20 seconds.
