If you love to play games like Total Annihilation your options are pretty limited. This is where Planetary Annihilation comes in. It is meant to be a truly innovative spin on what RTS games can and should be.
If you grew up playing Total Annihilation like I did, then this game should excite the **** out of you. I donated $95 dollars in hopes that it will become successful. In 2 days, it has almost reached half its goal by accumulating $450,000.

Looks promising the graphics may be against them by release (kinda cartoony)
Smashing planets is cool but shouldn't be their main focus. I would say more emphasis should be given to the planet wide combat idea and interface. E.G having multiple battles on multiple fronts (planets) all whilst having an easy to use interface to do it (e.g TA + etc meets a SC type interface).
Since there is a kinda re-release with this I would say have a A.I upgrade in that (hopefully on this one I know) have a sub-commander A.I in that you give it a general idea what you want it to do (build defenses / unit structures) and it will do it's think allowing you to focus on other things.
Other then that I would probably pick this game up

yeah i am 100% with you on that Skyve. I really want a 5 star fantasy rts to come out.
At the moment I'm looking forward to Castle Story, though it wont be quite the RTS im looking for it seems like it will be a lot of fun. =3
