making a copy of yourself that takes normal physical damage and deals 50% seems a bit buff to me.
This item effect is identical to Phantom Lancers Doppel walk minus a movement speed increase. I say no. It's nice, but it's not original. Also 50% damage is too high, needs to be like 25%. Also it should take slightly more physical damage. Imagine this on a lvl 20 Axe with vanguard/heart. A melee team would not kill him in the 8 seconds even if they pounded him. Reduce the 500% dmg taken from spells because that's instant kill with rank 2 of any spell.
Allows the Phantom Lancer to become invisible for a period of time, leaving behind a duplicate of himself to confuse enemies. 10% movement bonus at all levels.
Lasts 8 seconds.
Level 1 - 150 mana.
Level 2 - 120 mana.
Level 3 - 90 mana.
Level 4 - 60 mana.

I think the invisibility duration is too short, late game 2 seconds won't save you
Just curious here, but excaliber, since you are a mod, does that mean you can put yourself in the top suggestions if it reaches the requirements?
This is 100% escape item for any fragile hero (not only int heroes) and allows for amazing farm from any hero, weather it be a weak int hero, the weak lane heroes, solo hero, jungler, or carry hero that just needs to farm away. Also as someone has posted above me, its a port skill of Phantom Lancer which is what makes him such a good hero, his escape/farm ability.
Also for an item of these capabilities and amazing stats, it is way too cheap.

Your getting a huge amount of armor, mana, slight health, good damage (for int) and a bit of last hitting power for non int heroes, and slight regen for 100gold less than the 25stat items all in one slot. Such an amazing item for any jungler/roamer/ganker/solo/carry, TOO amazing.
It costs less than Insanitarious and makes use of two STARTING items which is amazing for your personal expenses. Turning your starting items into something useful would be too good for early game in league play or non-em games.

This is far too powerful because of the stats linked to it, a lot of str heroes would want this also because if the mana pool is usually half the battle early on, if I can change this into a 2 second invis it's good for initiating AND getting away for a measly 2600? I think it's too cheap, if you get it on axe you use it around the corner and then quickly dash in and taunt no one saw you coming, at least with blink you can't use it to escape unless you use it before your under attack.
Lets not even start on the int heroes. it's to good and makes up for far to many of the flaws of being an int a lack of getting away most of the time, armor and general stats.
I would buy this every game on almost every hero, that's where the problem is.
This could be a nice addition.
IF youre going to port phantom lancer thsi item would trash him nearly completely
If u doppelwalk, the illusion keeps running forward a while right? This item should do the same, if it just suddenly stands still - it will not confuse anyone. It's like a pyromancer at 20% stop walking and autoattack an enemy.

Hmm, in a way, I like the item. First I thought that maybe the 2 second invis is too low but after reading the comments, I supose its enough. but still, the price should be increased a bit. Compared to blessed orb + Helm, you gain way too much:
Blessed Orb: +10 to all stats. Cost: 2100
Helm of the Victim: +5 armor, +3 hp regen. Cost: 950
Magician's hat: +8 Intelligence, +8 to all stats, +7 armor, +4 HP Regeneration, and Hattrick (Active) Total cost: 2600
I'd say lower the stats by 2, armour by 2, HP regen by 1 and up the price by 300 further, OR up the price total to 3300. 250 gold for +2 armour, +1 HP reg, +6 int, -2 str and agi + a nice spelldodge aint a bad deal.
This way it would be way more balanced.
