So I have like 1300 MMR.
I want to get out of this ****, and these are my options:
I can play with a 1600 friend(s), speaking on skype, etc. and winning every game. BUT Thanks to S2 Games, I earn 0.5 MMR for a game (at least I'm not loosing MMR)
Or go SOLO Queue playing with random guys, (not that they are bad, I'm always Oj or Brown) And earn or loose 4 - 5 MMR for a game. And I usually loose.
I tried to find a 1300 clan on the forum, but theres none.
I know the MMR was discussed to death but I would really enjoy playing with 1600s and be the noob OJ support and actuallyt get some MMR than loosing a random SOLO Queueueue (it it such a stupid word)
And I really can't play carry, thats not the solution.
TLDR - MMR REWARD SYSTEM SUCKS BALLS N ****

Sounds like the only way is to gain .5 mmr per game.
Why does playing against 1600's give you only .5 anyway?
Maybe the game thinks it's not fair that 1600 wins a game and I do nothing - but thats not true, the enemy is at the same level!
That should be changed!
If you think you deserve to be 1500-1600 you should stomp the **** out of 1300s. When I first started playing I got to 700mmr at one point. and then I built myself up to 1600 and 1.5kd THEN I resetted. and this is my altPoint is that I improved and got out of it by myself, so should you
I climbed myself out of the 1300s. If you truly believe you belong in a higher bracket, you will eventually move up.

What I mean , is that i takes longer now - before it took 4-5 games to make 100 MMR, now - 20 games
You can win 5 games in a row - I did that a week ago (playing only Ra)
But 20? no
The game time didnt change - but the time you go up - ofc.

You should just go into Clan Epoch.

Instead of trying to play a different hero every game you should pick a hero like emerald and master him.
Once your clear in the bracket you want, start playing other heroes.
Don't listen to ppl and go Fayde, Pebbles etc. If you can't play them mid you will get trashed.
Warden is pretty simple to use.
Don't worry about support this that down there as I highly doubt anyone even wards in there.
Pick emerald mid wars practise. Read the guides (not Nome's).
They changed the system to be like that to stop friends carrying people to an MMR they shouldn't be at. Much like what other people have said, I was 1300 once, found the playstyle that fits me most and proceeded to get to 1600 mainly solo Q. No matter what role you prefer (I made it here playing support pretty much, since no games had a support player) you can get out of 1300 if you're good enough.

Forget about MMR man.
Play with friends and this game is WAY funner. I just solo Q'd to high 1800s on SEA. Then my friends asked me to make a new account to play with them (because my main was way too high for their liking).
So I made a new account. And yes my friends are not 1900 standard but whatever. We have a blast every game and it's much less of an effort. Also, because you feel like you can rely on them and communicate you can focus on something you need to improve without getting slammed for being noob every game.
TL;DR I solo queue'd to high MMR, just OK. Play with friends to medium MMR, having a blast so far. I recommend playing HoN with friends 100% of the time if possible.

I was once a 1100 before compression, then moved all the way up to 1600 where I am now, and I'm still evolving.
Comprehension of the game is very important, everytime you lose must understand WHY you lost. Maybe it won't be your fault (outpicked cuz SCOUT, MB, NH, PRED, SAND WRAITH) but sometimes (most of them cuz ur a 1300) it will be your fault. Try to improve based on your own mistakes instead of blaming other people.

If you admitt that you belong in a lower mmr bracket then the one you are currently in, why do you complain about not getting enough + mmr for a win??

Weird how you get .5 mmr when you queue with 1600s. Being 1300 and brown you should easily get like 20 a game if they're all 1400-1600. Your 1600 friends should be getting close to nothing, lol. Unlucky queue I guess. Or get them to make new accounts that are 1500 so you get more mmr per game I guess.
Or just go mid with fayde/hag/chipper/devo/pebbles/etc and win the game for your team
The reason is low risk/low reward
you are a 1300 so you shouldn't play against 1600's as there is no reason for you to win except getting carried.
Though playing in a 1300 game you should be able to do average leading to a high risk/high reward mmr change.
Also you can't blame it on +4/-5 as that is based on the mmr of the players you are playing with and against where if you are equal you will get +5/-5.

There is nothing we can do exept playing with 2-3 friends.
Solo queue has its drawbacks..
