Hi, i am a decent player but i only have around 1500mmr. In the game (115642817) i play Soul Reaper with my friend on Predator. p.s Im sorry for the rage but that rampage was annoying.

HoN was my first moba, I originally was console and so found the learning curve to play these HUGE and immensely difficult for the first few months (mind you my friends were also struggling having been pc). I think this is important to mention for others like me.
So after 6 months, I have become stuck, travelling down from near 1600 to 1500 mark, and now sliding to 1400. I am at a complete loss as to what is happening. I have good map awareness for the most part. I play team games in that buy a ward if Im carry and my team is struggling. I let my carry farm as much as possible, ganking and pulling when im supposed to support. In some scenarios I have an excellent start/laning phase, then when it comes to mid game either my team is down by 10 kills or desperately holding on to reach late game. Sometimes late game comes but there is always an opposing mid/carry who just obliterates.
This ALWAYS happens. No matter how good a start, my team NEVER seems to gel or be ahead(2 wins in last 25 games approx)
My questions are:
1)how much should i go out of my way to help the team if they are down. I dont tend to rage and most games benefit from no one quitting.
2)how does my farm get so low?? I try for counter/core items, meaning going necessities like shrunken/pk/hellflower early for example. Is this slowing down my farm?
3)is this MY fault? Do i make bad decisions? Is it my item choice, character or map movement?
The following was an AVERAGE game for me. We of course lose, but i get decent enough early farm, some kills and a luxury item, but my team melts in teamfights and we lose considerably. Please help

Hey! I played Hellbringer this game, and I did okay at the safe-lane. However, we lost to a super-fed Bloodhunter, however, I don't know if you would like to take a look at this because I don't know if you really can do much to stop such thing. Match ID: 115696661. P.S. the match ID has the Devil's number in it, and I was Hellbringer... you have to take a look at it, right??
If you want to take a look at another game that wasn't the 460 gpm BH thingy (kinda same, thought) here's a replay of me playing the MK mid. I lost mid the second Predator ganked with an invisibility and eventually killed my courier (Bloodhunter did, and he took it), but I managed to get back into the game, and I feel like I did everything I could. As a 1800+ player I can just adivice you to stay at your "hole" cause it aint getting a lot better.

I win my lane as Kraken (with a flint) and maybe get too greedy, take too much of flint's farm, don't see a miss call or two, but on the whole I think I did rather well. I rage a bit, but is there anything I should do to improve?

Heya Baumi, i joined your clan at first through friends, after recently switching over from DoTA 1 (The Warcraft one) and didn't really know who you were. Since my discovery i have started watching a lot of your videos in trying to learn the new hero's etc. I am stuck around the 1400 mark and wish to pull myself up to around 1600. I usually play a support/semi carry role. And yes I am one of those guys who gets the HoN version of bloodstone on Repulsor and plays valk as a support/semi-carry.
In this game we lose a player at the start leaving 3 solo heros (witch slayer, empath and lodestone) with me in the jungle on parasite. Our lodestone really had trouble landing his ult's but played very well other than that and he refused to buy a pk. I took it upon myself to experiment with a tank parasite build and i think it turned out nicely as I managed to outcarry their scout with the help of my team. If you could provide me with some tips and tricks on things, such as HOW i jungle and what timing is good it would be greatly appreciated.

Everyone has their bad moments, but how he is the next day, the day after, etc. is what counts. So he had a lousy game and was in a bad mood about it. Most people have been there. But Baumi, unlike most, will go back to helping review the replays of other players because they ask him to, not for any pay. He's also done it for so many players here already and they obviously appreciate it. Don't like his play or whatever, you're free to do so within the rules. But really, what's the use of trying to be rude here? The next day he'll be helping others and you guys will probably just go back to being rude to players in-game as well. GG.

He's not the best player ever, but apparently people come here and are willing to hear his opinions and advice.
The guy simply stated that it is odd that no one has challenged Baumi's credibility to teach. There are much better ways to reply than to be rude. A simple "I personally have not requested a review from Baumi because his style of play, personality, and/or skill level is not one which I am looking for advice from" is fine. Clear reason as to why you'd get advice from elsewhere, and it's not stooping to the level where you would have to use phrases like "But it is entertaining to watch a noob who gets stomped."
I mean, what if someone replied to AlexGotsThis and you in the same manner you did to Baumi? Oh, let's not trust what these other guys say. Let's look at a few of their recent games and see how trashcan dumpster vomit sweatbucket these players are. Gonna enjoy watching these noobs fail. Sure, it does its job of challenging your credibility, but there are better ways to do it.

Well basically I wouldn't give a ****. And since im not presenting myself to the public like he does why would anyone anyway?
You should be able to take crap if you are streaming especially in HoN and not act like a total child like he did in his latest stream ( which he weirdly took down ).

I don't think taking down the stream as a response to being harrassed like this is weird. You could have done like everybody else did: Oh, he had a bad day. Well, a shame that the stream sucked.
This is where the story for everybody else without an inferiority complex would have ended. But not for you. You had to take it further.
Oh and just for the protocol: If I am streaming or recording I concentrate mainly on the commentary. The gameplay is secondary. I also try to make it as entertaining as possible, which is why I buy dumb items and troll around a bit. That's why I use DekuBaumi to record and stream. My other account, the account where I actually take the game seriously and play to win is currently at 1770 MMR and rising.
And that's enough for this topic. Thanks Katie for defending me, I really don't get why these guys are this dedicated to making me feel even more miserable.
