Mastering ophelia is extremely hard, but she is also extremely useful with out mastering her. I can play somewhat decent ophelia and completely rape games, I can tell you that im very very very far away from mastering her. The power of ophelia is that not many ppl know how powerful she is especially the 1500s, 1600s and 1700s. I believe im standing with a decent % rate with ophelia including the first games which are horrible, you will be totally clueless the first few games but keep going. Playing even a decent ophelia will get you at least in the 1700s.
Plague Rider. He's literally press R, collect money/xp. Even if you're brand new to the game and don't know the best time to ult, at the very least its a powerful single target nuke, and PR will still end up doing quite a bit of single target dmg.

As long as you can take a couple mins to learn ward spots (because team will expect it from you) Plague Rider is pretty damn easy
Too many Devourer alts and no girl yet?! Help me fix this horrible injustice!! (Moved to archive, I am so sad!)

I started as many with Witch and Pyro. Easy to stun good ccíng big ult. Always teaching them first
One does not simply master ophelia. But I really advise you, when you start to get better try some games with Ophelia, she's totally amazing and you will be 1000% better players when u master her. ^^
you can get to a point where you don't terribly suck with her, but it seems like unless you are a gosu starcraft player you will always struggle to play all of your units to the best of your ability. The penalty (in reaction time and accuracy etc) of having to micro this much will always keep you behind opponents at the same general skill level as you. So if I'm a 1650 player I can do great with her vs 1500's, but not vs 1600's.
I've played her a lot and now I can handle lots of early game situations well, but it just keeps getting harder to keep track of everything as the game progresses, and to intercept good players on high mobility heroes.
I play her in pubs though (not MM) and sometimes it's hard to tell how much impact my mistakes have on the game.
Without question she's really hard to play well. Especially once you realize how strong she can be when you manage to plan ahead of your opponents. When you try to master a hero like ophelia you realize how incredibly far you are from it.

I can't micro for ****, I have enough problems with a puzzlebox on tundra let alone 3 creeps with their own abilities. Never played Ophelia, would get raged at for being a massive noob.
I would say for beginning players tanky heroes are the way to go. Armadon, C2lu, Blacksmith, there are way too many to list. As for intelligence heroes, I would recommend Witchslayer and pollyfrog priest. Some good agility heroes include arachna and Flint.
I think starting out with squishy heroes, especially those skill shots like Pyromancer isn't a very good idea. Start out with heroes that don't need your reactions, knowledge etc. to be polished. Armadon is a prime example of a good starting hero. He runs around spamming W to kill stuff and that's it. When the beginner flees as he will instinctively do, he will take much less damage. He's got the simple Q to catch up/get away. I'd recommend Armadon to anyone starting out.
My personal starting hero was Witch Slayer, he's really easy to control all of his abilities are relatively easy to hit with and he's pretty strong as well due to a lot of CC and a high nuke Ult
I really liked starting out with himso that's my personal recommendation

did U really recommend a hard carry like flint with 0 escape ability and high squishiness to a beginner ? Flint is the last hero I would recommend to a beginner, even after Ophelia. Cuz a ****ed up Ophelia won't hurt U so much as compared to flint.
OT : learn to ward and play heroes like plague, witch slayer or some tanky ones like arma , balphagore and kraken. Stay away from heroes like gladiator, nh , scout , flint , silhouette and tundra till U get a better understanding of the game.
learning by practice actually
Will suggest NH (cause hes ultimate might save you a few deaths if you're a decent player, and tons of deaths if you're bad), also he got an skillbased skill AoE which is good to practice so you can get most possible out of it.
He got a passive where you can practice some game mechanics, and a singletarget spella pretty good hero..
I kinda agree, stay away from support only.. they're so important to a game, and you might find yourself in a boring position many times :/
Else I suggest (besides from NH) Hammerstorm.. should be pretty easy too![]()

So sabuk,
I often visit forums related to my work ( some certain software ).
It's also often filled with Indians who necro threads and try to be helpful. On those forums, they ask for some kind of karma.
I see you're doing the same. ( there is no karma here though )
Can I ask why?
