I am a long time veteran of HoN, Dota and even AoS, and I am looking for some skilled, like-minded players to run lockpick with until we are tournament ready. Among my friends I only have 1 other player that I am bringing with me as I form this team so I am looking for AT LEAST 3, preferably 4-5 players to develop into a team.
Obviously I am going to play 1-2 trial games with any candidates but to get in your foot in the door there are some easy requirements to fulfill, I can only play so many trial games:
For starters I am only requiring an MMR of 1700+ with better than 52% wins. If you have an account that is role specific that you would like to apply with, I will accept MMR of 1650+ instead with Increased GPM for carries, KDR for gankers, Wards for support etc.
Lastly, the account you are applying with must be verified, for obvious reasons.
I do have a vent server but it is optional, I GREATLY prefer that you have a microphone to not having one, but if you blow my mind with your madskills I will overlook your not having one.
MOST IMPORTANTLY::::: I am US West and I require high availability to play between 5pm-12am Mon.-Fri. with flexible schedules on the weekend, so this rules out most EU/AUS players etc., sorry.
THE TEAM
I have a lot of experience putting together good lineups and giving a team direction, but if you say enough smart **** I will eventually take your opinion into consideration. I do rage but I have a very good sense of when a game is over and when it is still salvageable, and I understand that you only get better by analyzing your losses. Keeping these things in mind I plan to get 5-7 people up to speed for lockpick/tournament play in the next month or two, if you want to be a part of it reply here, friend me in game and send an email to MilesBlack21@yahoo.com . currently 1695 after a drop from 1750 56 per win and i play mostly semisupport/gankers. i can also solo decently and play some foresters.

I am very much interested in playing with serious players who are looking to hopefully one day crack the competitive scene. Due to the fact that I play with real life friends that are below my skill level my MMR may not be as high as you would like, I am however confident that I belong 1700+. I also have the tendency to use a few different accounts, you can check out 4 accounts in particular that I have used: JePh, Nudist, Cricket and Gorgonite. Between those accounts you should be able to see that I am better than your average HoN player. I am USW and i'm available in the evenings and on weekends. I study the competitive scene on a daily basis and although I have solid farming abilities I can also play hard support if needed. I am flexible with whatever role is given to me. Please add me in-game under the name JePh if you are interested in giving me a shot. I am very tired of having teammates that don't make the right decisions or take the game as seriously as me.

JePh I will probably give you a few games trial run, but I don't really have time to go scouting around a lot of different accounts to try and triangulate whether people can play on an elevated level. Everyone has bad friends they have to play with, but that shouldn't prevent you from getting 1 (out of 4) accounts to a reasonable MMR for competitive scouting. It is easy to farm KDR / GPM etc. if you are floating around the 1500-1600 range because you are playing against a bunch of 1500-160 players that belong there, and until you start playing against better people you cannot accurately gauge your own skill.
Like I said, I will happily give you a couple games of my time to test you out but I don't buy into anyone's excuses for being stuck below 1700, if you have been playing at 1500-1600 level for 150-200 games it is likely that the level of competition has lowered your skill. I reset my 1850 account and I don't go around saying I am an 1850 player because I haven't played at that level in several months and so realistically right now I deserve the description of 1750+, it's like an athlete coming out of retirement and expecting to pull MVP status from day 1, it just doesn't happen and it takes some time and effort to get ready for bigger challenges
