Counter-smurf mechanic: any difference between fresh account and newly reset account?

New accounts have this period of 10-or-so games during which they always get +-20 MMR from games, yes?
Does this also apply for old accounts that reset their stats?
    Thanks in advance

isn't it just to lose your 10 first games and make it even easier for you when you are at 1300 rating
Chu´ playing Codex 5 swedish version, someone asks him why he is listening to the swedish version

New sub-accounts and accounts after-reset will experience the accelerated MMR gain/loss period, identical to a new account.

Intentionally losing matches in order to deflate rating is considered stat manipulation. Such cases will be dealt with harshly.

Thank you. I have tried to find where I can get hard facts about this accelerated MMR loss/gain period but I havn't manage to find anything. Do you know where I could look?
Also, is a partial stat reset enough to get the accelerated period?

The precise way in which MMR gain/loss is calculated is not publicly disclosed.

Only for the rating that is reset (that is, the stat that goes back to 1500). Resetting wins/losses/leaves while maintaining rating will not enable the acceleration period.

There have been some cases where resetting normal rating enabled the accelerated bonus for casual, and vice versa. This is an unintentional bug that will be fixed shortly.

What about queing with friends that are a REALLY low MMR in order to stay in the same bracket (if you que with low enough players, you won't gain any MMR for your game, no matter how high skilled your opponents are). Say I had 100% win rate after 80 games, but only had 1750 MMR. Is this not considered stat manipulation?

    Sorry for offtopic~

Zomg I need a reset stat!

Do you still get the +75 for immortal bonuses and whatnot?

Players are entitled to play with lower rated friends. It is on us to improve the calculation method such that a group like this will slowly climb in rating. For now this is not considered stat manipulation.

Yes. That is included in the accelerated gain/loss period.
