    Stuck in 1400-1500 need help

IM stuck in 1400-1500 bracket i changed 1 acc cause i couldnt reach 1500 and on this one i went to 1300 but someone offered me to raise my mmr and he went to 1500 but now im loosing again so can someone help me with raising mmr or at least teach me how to play carry/semi-carry cause i mostly play support

if you are stuck in a certain bracket it means you belong there. you could get someone to boost you in mmr but once you play solo you will just drop again. indeed learn to play semi carry and go mid. my advice is to watch streams. you can read guides on forum but looking at how someone else does it makes it much easier. i was in the same situation as you some months ago but just watch a lot of streams and you will understand much better how mid should be played. good luck man

i would suggest to pick a "pro" player which u like and check out his last games and download the replays of that and start learning. after that u play a game and watch your own replay and check what u did when wrong. it helps a lot

ya im mostly watching streams and replays and trying to learn smth and some times i do well, but its kinda hard to learn carry by yourself you need someone to teach you

    get better

    try to improve every game

take everything ANYONE says into consideration and think about it.

    every tip is welcome

in this bracket its too hard to impove because every game there are 2-3 smurfs in game if they are on your team you win and if enemy team its GG they rape mid and win game in 10 min

yes in the 1300/1400 bracket feeders and smurfs are a problem but try to understand that if you are a solid 1500 player you will always get back in to that mmr even if you have a huge win or lose streak. like i said someone can boost your mmr but if you drop again it simply means you dont belong to that mmr

That's a lie. It's always easier to learn while playing against people better than yourself. Always play vs the best people possible even if you know you're gonna lose, they might just teach you something.

actually if you are bad you will get back there even if you learn from better players

Isolate your favorite heroes into a short, concise list. Play those heroes and get comfortable with everything about them (how low a creeps health has to be for you to last hit, the speed of attack projectiles, the CD of abilities). Play them into the ground. Watch replays of YOURSELF playing these heroes and be harshly critical with yourself. Learn your weaknesses and think of how to avoid them in the future. Why did I die here? Should I have? Could I have got away? Was that other player who raged at me all game actually right? Was I actually doing something incorrectly? What went well for me and did I actually play that well or did I get lucky?

Once you have a this list and start thinking through the above, then watch pro-streams and see how they handle the heroes differently. Don't watch PlayerX because they are cool or I have the most fun watching their streams. Find a BUNCH of streamers who are really talented and swap between streams to watch them use heroes on your list. If you love semi-carry gankers like Hag and Bubbles, then watching Testie go mid with Plague Rider isn't going to help you learn anything useful.

Some great streamers who are damn near always live right now:
    AngryTestie
    KingPlato
    Kreamz
    Kookiez
    Tralfamadore
    Peterpandam
    Chessie
    Haxxeren
    Bkid
    etc....

Avoid streams where the title is along the lines of "1600 Q WITH FRENDZ (SOO DRUNK RITE NOW)" or "HOT CHIK PLAYZ HON <3". Streaming is free, so even 1500s can do it. You will learn nothing from watching someone else who isn't very good.

If you really want to learn to beat your bracket, then also try to avoid streams by top tier players that say "Queuing Main Account". Watching 1900s play against other 1900s is awesome and will teach you a lot, but how they play against other 1900s is completely different from how they play against 1600s and below.

You're right Jen, the way 1900s play vs 1600s is totally viable. Inb4 1600s start running dex scout.

Play Scout. I get scores like 22-1 with him in this bracket ( which is proof I don't belong in it ) because he's a hero that doesn't need his team once he's fed, and a hero that makes it a lot easier for your teammates to win team fights even if they suck ( 6 second silence FTW ). Ignore the other people saying "get better" because they're not even solo queuing. I don't care how good you are - if you're on a team with 3 or 4 noobs with scores like 0-11, you're not winning a damn thing. They're under the impression they're good even though they TMM every time they play the game which dramatically increases your chances of winning. I'd win almost every time I queued if I had 4 competent players with me too, but I don't, and that's why you have to pick heroes like Scout, Armadon, etc. that can stomp an entire enemy team alone and make things easier for the feeders on your team.

Wouldn't be too sure on that. Knowing how to get a lot of kills isn't the same thing as knowing how to win. Maybe you're not utilizing the gold you've gained from kills enough or something? I've seen and been in many games where a team with much fewer kills has won the game simply because the team with the lower score took way better advantage of pushing down towers/rax when team fights went in their favor. :P

If someone carries you out of your bracket and then you lose games and drop again when you solo queue it means you're not ready for that bracket.
