Hi guys... well i've been desperate to reach the 16xx bracket just to avoid getting matched up with people with no clue and hopefully the majority of games there involve sensible picks/lanes.
I'm not good at carrying a team with stomp hero's and well I really think I deserve to be higher rated.
I just played a game where I was lucky enough to get matched up with 1750 pink/blue (I was DG, 1540 rating) and I went 12-0-11 on torturer.
I guess i'm looking for players that would like to either mentor or play with me to get the rating I need, or advice if i'm terrible and deserve to be here.
That game, your pink was 1716. Blue player was 1660ish. The other team played very poorly for the most part, so everyone on your team got ez win scores (Aluna went 1/1/23. Those assists! <3 ). But I'll admit, you did well.
You lack consistency though. Just keep sharpening your skills until you become more consistent at applying them.
Just a note about 1600 - I've gotten there on a few accounts (I get to around mid-1600, but then games get tough for me if I play against teams with upper-1600s and 1700s), and you will see pairs/groups that will run solid lanes like Nymphora+Pebbles and do it decently, but don't be surprised to see a lot of players who may be as hard to play with as those you had in the 1500s. If you can work on your support, you'll get many friends there since many do feel a good support is vital for them to get to 1700.
Edit - On stomp heroes. Some people can get higher quickly with just doing what the hero does. Like a Sil that focuses on farming and carrying, a Pebbles ganking, etc. But if stomp heroes don't work in that manner for you, try doing a bit more or playing them a bit different. Like if I'm rolling around as Deadwood on a new account/sub, I help ward a bit, up cour, and instead of the PK, I go for a Sol's first after Ghost Marchers to help my team in team fights.

Ah ok I thought that Polly was pretty bad for a 1750... (!) Do you mean consistency in that game or did you look through some past games? Are you around 1600 now? I'd really like to queue as support for a solid 1600 I hate placing 15 wards only to lose the game... despite feeling like I played a really good match.
I looked briefly at a few within your previous 7-8. Some games you do well on stuff like last-hitting, getting in team fights when optimal, and other games, it was like you forgot who you were or something. :P
This account I recently reset because I felt kinda bad all my other accounts had much better stats (and I didn't feel like getting Mutant Slither. I'm quite happy with MSIvy), but I do have a few in the 1600s, highest is at 1644. But my ganker/hard carry abilities sort of taper off there (I mostly do support/solo lane ranged semi-carry), so I would be more focused on my own play there if you were to support me. But I'll definitely be happy to Q with you on something lower, so I can focus on helping improve your support play if needed.
Also visit channels like Clan Project Epoch (check out our sticky too! We offer mentoring!), Clan D, Clan RawR, other popular channels. Willing supports are rare, and I see a lot of 1500-1600s who look for supports there. :P
Edit - I don't know how many are still around, but there's a clan tagged [H3LP]. It has plenty of supports that you can sharpen your skills with since that's their main focus.

Well i'll check those out for sure. Add me on this account if you are up for a few games some time! And ye i'll work on the consistency...
Sorry, the 1600s are filled with bad players who think they're good because they got out of the 1500s. It's not going to be as easy as you may think, you'll get the demented shaman who buys 1 ward early game then claims he supported and builds codex/tablet without warding any further. If you're aiming to get good, aim for 1700+. Also, if you're looking for mentors, try Project Epoch.
Thinking 1600s are any better than 1500s when it comes to picks and playing like a team is a massive misconception.
The main difference between 1500s and 1600s is that each individual player is more important, you tend to get better win ratio if you are a bit better than your mmr, at 1500's you can be 1550-1600 and still never get above 1400, being 1600 means that you usually will never get thrown down below 1550 unless YOU are the one causing it.
