I notice a couple threads about how its not easy to get armor as support heroes
armor i find is extremely easy to get. here are a couple items that are cheap and effective
The Basic easy armor
>
>
or
(abyssal skull is actually better than bulwark for team armor)
Here's the classic that no on ever gets, the vestment equivalent
(just a chain mail alone will help)

(the new one) or

(not recommended)
And here is your luxury armor items
(your Shamans equivalent, also cheaper)
>
And the God to all armor items
(this is your shrunken equvielent without the length getting shorter per use)
if you get a chain mail or platemail with a couple bracers() preferably 2.
your hero, even glacius will be tanky enough for your team to arrive
Thx for reading and please stop feeding the MK!
And you should also include the fact talisman makes you a sitting duck against magic damage, which almost all heroes in the game are capable of doing in some way, making that item expensive and crippling against most heroes of the game.

In low brackets the opposing team might not know this and leave you alone when you use it.
Clan Blame The Team!
1. Vestements is a must with this
2. While the length doesn't get shorter after use, it only lasts for 4 seconds. Shrunken lasts for 10 which decreases to 5. That's still more than 4.
3. This disarms you
On the bright side, it does give 7 of each stat and it has a low cooldown.

Just saying, it's time they remove the negative of Talisman.

If only support had item slots to get so many items.
Boots, Power Supply, Wards 2x, Tps
Leaves you with 1 slot. One does not simply get '2 bracers and a ringmail or platemail' on a support hero.
And Power Supply > Bracer, no doubt.

They say that they don't have enough room for bracers and or armor items, because of wards.
My question is, Why the F*** are you holding the wards still?
Don't have the mathcrafts on me, but iirc its more effective to stack HP until about 900 health.

Less exp'ed supports are probably not so keen on timing their ward placements or checking on them for timers, so they often carry wards around just-in-case even though they could be holding other items they have instead. At least that's what I think. <.< If support players grew more accustomed to using the courier as mentioned above for warding/countering, you might see it less too. :P

For me, it generally comes down to the annoyance that is using the courier for such purpose. Some players might not even know about such thing though.
Also, another thing is that your team needs to use the courier as well (especially since I like to run FA, and using the courier to gain vision of neutral camps beforehand boosts her farm), so I usually don't bother doing it.
He's still right tho. Most heroes in the game are going to hit you very hard with spells if you use VT in an exposed position. The enemy team will usually have only one hero that gets countered by VT (like say panda). Making its use in teamfight situations questionable at best. Would only use if I'm about to be impacted by a panda stun/rampage or while TP'ing out and they have some physical disable they can cancel it with.not true, theres so many physical gankers that just become useless when u use this: ramp, panda, wb and soooo much more
Well, it's also effective vs the odd magebane/TDL/wb sitting on your face and rightclicking like a pro. But only if you're out of range of the other enemies.

You can buy all the armor you want it doesnt make up for the terrible positioning every support below 1750 has.
I have wards in my inventory for when we go 5 man roam their jungle. I do not want to get the courier into their territory while I ward a dangerous spot. I often am close to a teamfight, Which is about to happen, and I want to place a ward.
If I don't have one in my inventory and need one to fly to me, it will be too late to do anything.

RoTT + Gravelocket and Powersupply should be enough for the whole early to mid game.
After that someone of ur team should already have picked up a deamonic or bullwark.
No need to invest in more items since you'll need Wards and Homecoming stones more then defence.
