    Bubble's Shell surf?

    Hey, this is my first time posting so I do not really know where this thread should be.
    Please, feel free to move it to the 'right' section.

    Anyway!
    I was playing Bubbles and was up against Witch slayer (This was a teamfight and not 1v1).
    And I know that the Witch slayer is going to ulti me. So I do Shell surf and see that the Witch slayer is pulling out a gun. And we all know what that means.
    The shell has traveled quite far and as soon as I saw the gun I ported to my shell.
    The thing is, I was ported but I still died.
    Thinking that his ult MAY have hit me before or at the EXACT same time but that was not the case.
    I downloaded the replay and watched the whole action in 1/4x speed. And you can CLEARLY see that the bullet had not hit me before I ported to my shell.
    So here's my question!
    Have they patched Bubbles Shell surf? i.e. made shell surf not able to disjoint anymore or do I need a better pc?
    This has happened before but against a Pyromancer's ult.
    Is this plain impossible?Patched?Need a better pc? What is it?

    And in case you wanna see for yourself,
    Match ID: 96781864
    Time: ~0:19:25-0:19:35

    Won't watch the replay, but I guess you just had bad luck/timing, his ulti probably hit you as you pressed Q again, making you take damage before you teleported, and having your dead body port instead, sounds like the same thing with Pandamonium, even though his cannoball doesn't disjoint.

    I could be wrong. I was watching moon's stream and he ultid a hag as she blinked and she still took damage

    The answer is that witch slayers ult is not disjointable. The only way to nullify it is to have immunity.

    It would appear that I'm wrong. His ulti has an entire new meaning to me now.

    Oh! ok, but I can still do take cover right?
    And SlicerDigZ. As I said earlier in my post - The ult did NOT hit me, it was FAR from it.
    And when I ported it still took the remaining 'road that the bullet goes' (Don't know how to explain it).
    But thanks for the quick answers! Will only do take cover on them from now on

    Yeah despite there being a bullet animaton it doesn't take time to hit from his cast resolving, as opposed to say Flint Beastwood's ulti.

    If you had shell'd then taken cover in time you would have been able to port away from cover but not sure if you had mana/cd up
    Manly Mode is the way to play

    XSin, Witch Slayers ultimate is a projectile. Which means the projectile has a speed.

    Code:
    Witch Slayer - Silver Bullet
    speed="3000" //projectile speed
    range="700"

    Flint Beastwood - Money Shot
    speed="2500" //projectile speed
    range="1500,2000,2500"
    Witch Slayers ultimate takes 233ms to impact the enemy. 700/3000
    Flint Beastwoods ultimate takes 600/800/1000 ms to impact the enemy. 1500/2500, 2000/2500, 2500/2500
    Note: The above milliseconds are max travel times

    Technically only the damage is undisjointable.

    Code:
    <damage effecttype="Magic" amount="500,650,850" target="proxy_entity" />

    We went over how I simplified things for the sake of making it simple in another post

    :<

    It's only relevant for Plague Rider/Pyro's ultimates
