Yes but if you can't even get 30 it's something to strive for. Start small.

I can get 55 one game and then 15 the other game. It's completely dependent on how well the enemies are doing and whether your lanemate is trying to help you or trying to steal your farm

30 ck is decent in 10 minutes as a mid hero, but I prefer like 45-50 I play very farm heavy start usually and only killing my opposite mid/tping into side lane for 100% sure kills. Sometimes it is just impossible to last hit if your like versus dw, but then you need to know when ever he comes to deny/ck you punish him hard and you can soon farm because he is out of regen.

I've got 1000 games played on my account in about 1.5 years. I mostly played support for along, long time. All of this, to me, is either common knowledge, or common sense. I often que support at 1700-1800 with friends on my 1650+ account. The point of this tiny bio?

I'm not very good at carry or solo generally speaking, atleast, not on most heroes. With all of my game experience, my mid-high level support experience and some practice on most carry/solo heroes, I can say that I HAVE put all of these suggestions to use on many occasions whilst practicing solo and still lost by a large margin. The matter of fact here is that these suggestions will not help you break 1700. They will help you have higher gpm and higher kdr against bad players.

I think that, as a community, HON players need to realize that 90% of people in this game are absolutely trash at the game. You will not break 1700 unless you are an exceptional solo mid or queue with multiple friends with good synergy. By exceptional solo mid, I mean, 180 gpm in the first 10 minutes will barely get you what, a bottle, marchers and amulet?

I aint no exceptional solo mid player, but I can easily get to 1700s but thats it. Ive Never gotten to 1800s even tho most of the times playing in 1750+, not even 1 lucky win streak. It becomes a lot harder to carry yourself there because enemies will most likely have wards, they will care for your ganks, they will gank you mid etc. Before that point theyre just plain dumb.

You're barely 1700 and you never play on that account though, assuming you mean other accounts?

There's a few things on your mid guide to you should emphasize is:

-What items to buy (you can easily explain what&why)
    -When you should be ganking&why
-How you should have rune control&why)
    Casual HoN
