The epic DreamHoN Online Summer Championships are underway and the best teams in Newerth are battling it out for a shot at part of the $40,000 prize pool. We're entering the group stage of the tournament and with that stage comes an exciting announcement.
Beginning on July 26th, we will be holding special “viewing parties” for specific matches of the tournament! While the game is being broadcast live on Honcast, the community will be able to hang out with S2's xanderK and a special guest professional player by joining the in-game channel "DreamHoN Party" and tuning in to the match at www.twitch.tv/honcast or via the HoNTV client in-game.
Throughout the broadcast, there'll be in depth discussion of the games amongst the group. We will discuss the Lock Pick drafting system at length and talk about the strategies both teams are employing there. Once the game begins, the focus will shift to the lineups and how they match up against each other as the action goes on. We'll discuss things as specific as item/skill builds on individual heroes as we try to break down the game and understand the highest level of Heroes of Newerth competition.
Plus, there might even be a few fun giveaways of Goblin Coins and store items for participating!
A schedule of the viewing parties will be released via an update to this post once the teams that are in the group stage are finalized. Hope to see you there for some exciting Heroes of Newerth action and maybe to learn a little something as well!
NOTE: If the DreamHoN Party channel is full, simply add (1, 2, 3...etc.) to the end of it to join the next room!
Next Matches!
8/24: Pikachu vs. It's Gosu
8/25: Tt eSports vs. Vitriolic

I completely suggest to join this channel it is really funny and you could eventually win some gold coins
cheers
Aww damn, I was hoping it was something like these 'barcraft' events my friend was talking about (wherein people watch starcraft streams at a bar)
Why would you possibly choose 90z vs unz over QsQ vs Pika? The latter are just wayyyyy better teams
