Welcome to the Creative Continuum!
This is a special contest that seeks to reward the talented artists in our community in a few awesome ways. Each month, a new contest will begin with two seperate parts: the first part is a general art contest and the second is focused on making account icons based on a theme! Artists will create their entries and submit it to the corresponding threads for that month. Once the contest is over, a winner will be chosen from each category. The general art winners will have their work displayed prominently for the whole community to see and the winning icon will be given out to HoN players via the Match Rewards system for one month! All you'll have to do is play one game of normal or casual mode matchmaking!
For the first account icon contest, we'd like to do something special and have the community create an Official HoN Community Icon! This icon will be available indefinitely after it is released and be a way for you to show pride for being a part of the HoN community. This contest will run as described above with a small twist. Instead of selecting one winner, S2 will choose several finalists from the entries and the community will get to choose which one becomes the Offical HoN Community Icon!

The creators of the winning selections will receive 600 Gold Goblin Coins for their hard work, in addition to the honors described above.
Account Icon Submission Requirements
Image Size: 128x128
File Size: 50kb or less
File Type: JPEG, PNG, GIF
Your image may not have any effects or transparency.
Submissions must not contain objectionable material
General Art Contest Submission Requirements
Submissions must be HoN related
Submissions must not contain objectionable material
Type is up to you: can be images of any sort, videos, music, cosplay, sculpture, etc.
The contests will run for exactly one month, until August 24th. Have fun and we're excited to see what awesome stuff you have in store!

Is there a chance you could do a theme for the general art contest too? I'd like to participate and having something as perhaps a topic will make it more fun/easier - For example, draw "X" hero doing "Y" action or something along those lines?

Well, the point of the general contest is that you can do just that if you want to. By leaving it open like it is, you're free to enter anything you feel like working on. If you feel inspired to create something HoN related, it'd be eligible to be entered in the Creative Continuum. Also,if you start something for this month's contest but miss the deadline, it doesn't matter. Just enter it the next month!
Are we allowed to submit multiple entries for the same contest or is it limited to one each month?

Go for it! Like I said in my previous post, people should feel free to submit anything HoN related that they're inspired to create.
It doesn't need to be an image for the general contest! Photoshop skills are not required. :-D

Whenever I like to make a big project I make a Speed art or Timelapse. Is that alright to include with the work?
