Just wanted you to give you guys a quick update regarding HoN Tour. We have wrapped up the anticipated technical work for HoN Tour features, and will for the first time move into full-force testing this coming week. Pending test results, we will shortly be able to establish an estimated timeline for launch. Thanks for your patience as we finish up the final legs of this long, winding - and at times backwards - journey.
S2 Games: Dedicated employees serving dedicated gamers. Continuous development. Never-ending improvement.

Yay, things are finally starting to happen in the HoN scene.
"Content content content content content" - Breakycpk
an announcement like this was made a few months ago, roughly stating the same thing.
Wouldn't count on this leading up to anything. Maybe if there was something SOLID we could work from...?
Finally some news... What is this technical work he talked about? An InGame feature that allows to do everything from the client?
I for one am glad to see S2 say anything about the subject, even if it were to be not too much new.
Glad to see progress
MoonMeander: Sometimes when I get bored at night I pretend I'm Chtuluphant and charge my girlfriend, pillow, blanket off the bed and yell "MRRHHHHHHHHHH!"
Parakletos: two kinds of people in the world: people who jump on their **** in the shower and dirty liers
Fantasy: You definitely are a GIANT contributer that I am, where I am.
NovyPirat: The only thing riser needs to survive is the island and the others
Basically all I see is a bunch of fancy wording to avoid the use of "soon".
Were still in the dark just as much as we've been for the last year in a half (i think?).
Uh-huh. (true) story time!
I work as an engineering consultant on assignment in a third world country. My current job was delayed from starting for 5 months waiting on external contractors trying to get visas and work permits. Even now, 3 months into the job, the workforce is less than a third of what it should be. I've given up on listening to the contractor as their only excuse is "they'll be on site next week". For 8 months now I've been fed this excuse every week. The contractors even made it to the airport once before being denied at their own country's customs.
I'm so past the point of caring now that I only believe they'll be on site when I physically see them. I ignore the promises the contractor makes.
Are you guys seeing the analogy here? I don't believe any information posted on SoonTour because all we've ever been fed is bullshit. This may sound harsh and I aplogise for that but if you can't stick to an expected deadline - even an implied one as is the case with HoNTour ("busy" April?) - at least be sensible about your revised posts
Despite what they would have you believe, HoN forum-goers are indeed just a vocal minority, <1700 mmr and more susceptible to confirmation bias than most normal human beings...

HoN is not DotA; and one extra key-press won't kill you
So unless I make a thread like this S2 won't give any updates? It has been more than 3 months, and suddenly after that thread was posted, this one was made.
"HoN is a hardcore "moba" game, not an esport game. Yes we have the best title for eSports in our genre, but eSports and its players accounts for very very little of HoN's playerbase,"
- Phil The Thrill, director of e-sports
On topic, not that much new info. I guess this means HoNtour will be integrated in the HoN-client so it will be easy accesible? Im hoping for better clanpages and stats with it! So everything is done for the client now, that means it could be implemented now if they wanted to? Expecting an ETA in the near future then. Would be dumb to realese it before DreamHoN is finished thou (imo).
