Alt avatars price change dates

Something I wanna add is that if you purchase an alt with gold it will give you the alt's symbol (or icon?), but if you purchase it with silver it won't.

Also wish I had seen this thread before. Bought 3 out of the 4 horsemen with silver to find out they are changing to 500 in the upcoming weeks. Guess I can't be mad though. My own fault for not looking and it is still way more reasonable than 3k silver for every avatar.

btw, u can get night hunter and fleaming deadwood for 500 silver now

Thx I updated it. What is worse, I had removed deadwood before, but I did not change my source file. I guess that price for night hunter has maybe been changed with last patch? Oh, well...

Can you perhaps elaborate your question? Fact that some avatars have different release dates even though it is in the same patch is accounted for. For instance this week

Phantom Tempest-> {2012,10,12}{2013,2,8}
Shibo Shinobi-> {2012,10,12}{2013,2,8}
Headhunter Valk-> {2012,10,5}{2013,2,1}

Even though valk is released only 3 days before devo, it "should" be released week earlier becuase of friday before 60/180 days policy. Is that what you meant? (y, that might be the source of inconsistencies such myrm and ophelia in this patch. I have tried to put exact dates where possible, but this might be source of mistakes. )

Updated the first post. Special thx to Naib for helping me with this one. I have a felling* that S2 does not really observe 60/180 days policy but rather 2/6 months policy which is not the same and might be another cause of some errors. Anyhow enjoy your myrmidon games

Actually 60 days ago is 6/18/2012...at that time the patch included (but had not released) Illithiphelia (who was discounted today on day 59) and The Orc With No Name (who had been released but as a limited edition is not reduced in price) Chimera Draconis released in the patch the following Friday (6/22/2012) and therefore is not eligible for the price drop yet.

180 days ago was 02/19/2012...at that time the patch included (but had not released) Horseman Famine (who was discounted today on day 178) and Shenlong (day 181). Night Hunter and Horseman Death released in the patch on 2/24/2012 and therefore will be reduced in next week's patch.

Hopefully that helps to clarify the pricing change dates and gives a better point of reference! Enjoy the discounted avatars and Game HoN!

Does that mean that I misunderstood "It should be noted that silver price changes for avatars should be happening on Friday Patches going forward for all those following the reduction time frames." (by S2 LoreMeister, post #35)

-The way I interpreted -> Avatars will have reduced price last friday before 60/180 days timer runs out.
-The way you interpret (it seems to me) -> Avatars will have reduced price closest friday when 60/180 days runs out

For instance for Chimer draconis was release on 22.6 (we agree). 60 days after is 21.8 and the first "friday patch going forward" is today, 17.8?
Another thing to note, Chimera was released on friday 22.6, but Ilithphelia was not released friday prior (so one can not use argument, if Ilitphelia is available this friday, chimera can not be available until next)

I would appreciate some further clarification -> What does "going forward" mean?

P.S. I really do not want that this seem like bash, I am fine with both systems, I would just like to now for sure so the result could be accurate

Sorry for the confusion OsianII.

Its based on the date the content patch was released. So the Friday after the content patch hits 60/180 days. That means avatars that were released on a Friday will Generally hit that mark 1-2 days after the 60/180 threshold is met and those released on Mon-Thursday will be released on or earlier than the actual 60/180 day mark.
