Loading Assets freeze at 99%

I couldn't find the map online anywhere, if someone could steal the map out from before the patch started, then you could insert that in after the update, and it should work. Could someone post up the old version of the map online?

Quickfix that seems to work for me. Download this file and replace your own caldavar.s2z. For linux (ubuntu) file that needs to be changed is in Home/Hon/game/maps

P.S. From irc chat with admin there -> so perhaps reinstall when there is new installer, if you get in problem with future updates

long fix is to wait for new installer, or chmod -R u+w a fresh hon install
it's only the caldavar/midwars maps that are getting corrupted
but without chmodding your install, you may run into issue in a future update

Work normal in my Macbook mid2009, but not in iMac21 2010.

The problem is I'm Cadalvar map!!!
If u try this map in pub u will receive a XXXXX unread bit error (other maps no).

Had the same problem, assets not loading. Grabbing the two map links from above and replacing worked!

S2 is pretty bad on the mac updates. Wish they would test more. Seems every time a patch is out it breaks the game somehow.

how did you replace them? my application support folder doesn't have a hon folder.. -_-

Same thing for me, except I can play Mid Wars as someone else stated, but the map is all white….

The above worked completely and totally perfectly! If you are using a MAC and are new to its interface and don't know how to expand the HoN app in Applications.

Simply:

Go to Applications -> Rclick on Heroes of Newerth -> Select "Show Package Contents" -> Navigate to "game" then "maps" -> Delete current "caldavar" and replace with the above download.
