I'm really glad they redid his voice too. I loved the way he talked. It was so unique as a villain.

Enjoyed the Movie, but it was a lot weaker than the 2nd, there was simply no acting to match the quality of Heath Ledgers the Joker.

Most of my friends that came with me also thought similar and one hated it. I felt that half the film belonged to Nolan and the other half belonged to Hollywood. Towards the end the whole patriotism thing becomes a little stale (maybe because we are European). It was just a little too cliche. I enjoyed it more than my friends, because I am a little nerdier (not a huge comic book fan, but I had researched the main storyline behind bane etc.). Not his best movie and definately not in the same league as Memento or Inception.

The film could have definately shaved 30mins off.

Edit: I watched the Dark Knight a couple of hours before I went to watch, it amped it up for me. I'm reasonably young so I might not have the standards the more mature people have -_-

Predicted probably every single twist that happened in the movie, but it was still really good. No Batman villain can ever beat the Joker, especially not THAT Joker. But Bane was very good, albeit a lot different than I was expecting.

The best movies are the ones that you can watch again, know exactly what is going to happen, and still enjoy every second of it. I enjoyed the Dark Knight, watching it again on my couch, more than I enjoyed going the the Dark Knight Rises in theatres blind.

This video is great, the inspiration for the Joker. Heath Ledger worked with Tom Waits shortly before Dark Knight. It is pretty uncanny:
