I have sent an email as well. If necessary I will call them, I really want to play!
DominatorX, change the title of this thread to "All UAE players, read here!". We need to bring this thread to the attention of all the disgruntled Du users who cannot play so we can get lots of emails concerning this subject out.
Refer any Dubai Du users who play HoN you know to this thread, guys!
We'll probably have to wait till after the weekend for them to reply.
As a temporary solution guys, you can run your network through any proxy or VPN like hotspot shield. It adds some latency but at least you'll be able to play. I go from 120-130 latency to 200-220 latency with hotspot shield on european servers, which isn't TOO bad I guess until we get the issue sorted out.
guys: better use TOR as VPN. You can choose any location to get a proxy from.
Hotspot shield uses USA proxy standard and since you guys play from Dubai, let the connection go to USA, and then let it go back to EU it will lagg you so badly.
email sent thank you for the effort, although I think us DU users are screwed were probably going to just be ignored.
I called du and basically got the answer I expected, "Please email us at customer.care@du.ae"
Guess were just gonna have to wait for an email. And if its not resolved like that I don't see this issue getting resolved at all. I finally have a good reason to play DOTA 2 : /
Nvm just use hotspot shield, the TOR application seems to difficult to explain in here (with the limited resources i have here at work)
Use hotspotshield like steel said.
download it, rightclick it (right bottom of the screen) and click on connect or something, and it will say 'successful' in green. Really simple, but still laggy :/
