You're silhouette, enemy team got kongor and they are about to push.
You have steamboots, pk, nullstone, shieldbreaker, genjuro, and a BKB.
Your enemy team has lots of physical armor.
You have enough gold for a buyback, but you also have enough gold to sell your shieldbreaker and get a harkons. No one on the enemy team has any magic armor, and only their panda has a BKB.
Your initiator is your maliken who's not that farmed. He has a behemoth, daemonic, steam, and bkb.(In comparison to the enemy team)
This game happened a while ago but I forgot to ask about it. I'm too lazy to go in more detail about my team/find match ID, but what should I have done? We lost the game because our maliken d/c'd and we didn't have any pauses left. But what would you have done?
Btw they had a plague who was constantly armor'ing people up.
need a bit more detail as to your team + theirs
buyback if there is a chance you will die early even with your shrunken, or if they are able to somehow initiate onto you and take you out
if they can't, then harkons is an alternative

Hi there General, You've only listed Panda and Plague for the enemy team, so it's hard to say what you should have done. If the enemy team was going for a push after defeating Kongor it sounds like you are already neck deep in trouble. In my opinion, the best bet was probably to fight in base whilst saving gold for a buy-back. Maliken should have hung back and initiated when someone over-extends themselves and force them all to converge.Originally Posted by GeneralNoob9
Again, without both team-lineups, we have no idea what disables you have and even if you can counter panda locking one team-mate down while Plague Rider spews his ultimate.
Then again, I'm only writing all this based of what little information you've supplied. If you really want a proper assessment a match ID or at least team-lineup would be mighty helpful.
As stated above, we need more information about the other team. As an avidplayer, I would say your build is great, but a Geometer's Bane is always a great pickup on Silhouette.
Since the enemy team had a lot of physical armor, selling you shieldbreaker to get a Harkons Blade would have been a good choice, but if doing that got rid of your ability to buy back, I would wait until you had enough money for both. Also, if they're doing a push and you're trying to defend, constantly keeping your illusion in the fountain whenever heading out would be a great idea.

my memory is a bit fazed, but I do believe we had
Silhouette
Maliken
Kinesis(don't remember what he had but I know he had Hellflower and kuldra)
Armadon(only had a vanguard, shamans, daemonic, and nomes)
and I can't remember the last one. I know he was useless though.
They had
plague, (spellshards3, vanguard, post haste, and hellflower)
panda, (was extremely farmed. Full set of items. Had a heart, null, daemonic,bkb, Shieldbreaker, and post haste. He was a pain in the ass is all i can say)
Ellonia(behemoth heart, nullstone, hellflower, kuldra, steam boots)
valk(had little to no farm since I destroyed her millions of times over, she had a score like 5/20/15
and a decently farmed monkey king but he didn't do well in laning phase
That's all i remember, but I do know that my team enjoyed staying right next to eachother so pandas stun ****ed them over. I always took down valk first since she was the easiest, then I would proceed to panda/plague(late game i gave up on that since he was way too tanky). But their team would wait for panda to go in with his aoe stun, **** my team up with his flurry(except for maliken who positioned himself well in team fights, wish he farmed a bit more though) and ellonia would be slowing them all down ensuring they wouldn't run away since BKB is apparently over rated???
But yeah the game was heavily reliant on me and maliken, and their panda was the only one with a BKB. I've had previous success with silhouette harkons so I wasn't sure.

2 daemonics is a huge waste and big miscommunication between malik and arma...
Arma should pick up a barrier for elonia, kin should try to hellflower/cyclone q plague before he can ult, and malik should try to get a good ult off while you whack away at mk/elonia/plague who in my eyes do the most aoe damage. honestly i'd leave panda alone since he probs has the token and hope he focuses arma or something.
harkon's would be huge, but if you got picked off, it's gg. the problem with buyback is that doing so means you died and they got to pick up rax or some buildings.
Sell PK for as many levels of Riffshards as you can afford while still being able to afford a buyback. If you win the fight, sell SB for Harkon's. GG.
ahhh juicy magic damage crits.but would sillu have mana for harkons?also,when is it viable to go harkons instead of -armor?how much armor should the enemy have?
