    Awesome!

Ya know what I'm going to do...I'm going to hi-jack Nytemair's thread since it is retired. I'll just copy/paste everything into my OP here and continue where he left off. Thanks for this link Marach.

    Haha
Yea sorry Clytemnestra I just clicked on like 3 or 4 random links in the middle of all of the links you posted because I just haven't had the time to look at them all yet.
I'll get around to it...been updating my thread here for like 6 hours today ><. But yea I'll give you first dibs on credit for posting the link to Nytemair's thread .

now i haven't scrolled up to see your work and i saw you worked a lot.can't wait for the final product.i will say a few more tips once i remember them.see if what macrohard and all others answered here to my question is good http://forums.heroesofnewerth.com/sh...tlight-Slither ,about superior magic application/damage.

  6. #26
Yes Clyte, they explained it...albeit confusing...correct.
Slither's Ultimate has Superior Application, but regular magic damage.
Meaning a Shrunken Head cannot prevent application or remove it, but will prevent the damage for the duration of the Shrunken Head buff.

    Okay put it this way:
A soldier throws a sticky bomb at a Titanium Super-Invulnerable Tank.
The tank is so strong that it won't take damage, but it also can't unstuck the bomb regardless.

i disassemble my steams and make post haste or ghosts and make codex.

Holy crap dude you only disassemble Frostburn? Man, I disassemble Ring of Sorcery, Steamboots, Plated Greaves into new Sac Stone. Man...I'm tellin ya...there are a few disassemblies that are pretty bogus and nobody really ever uses them, I agree. But I'd say, for the most part, over half of the disassemblies I've listed are useful. Like disassembling a Genjuro for the Dancing Blade into a Wingbow, that's one of my favorites for sure.

I'll clean it up slightly now that I've got every possible disassembly written so now I can actually read through them and determine which ones are legitimately useful, but I'm going to leave a majority of the disassemblies up there cuz again a majority of them are solid.

I mean I'm definitely open for debating which ones need to stay and which ones need to go. Give me a list of like 10 of em that you really don't think need to be there.

forgot.i also disassemble chalice and use the ring for an arcana if i go hellflower for example.since chalice is useless later and occupies a slot.

why would you ever disassemble genjuro? it's probably the most OP item in the game with its 2 charge invis and slow on attack
add in how most carries get savage and wingbow honestly isn't that worth disassembing your genjuro for

if you're averaging 250-300 gpm getting those items, there's really honestly very little you get out of disassembling. i find it more for poor supports where every gold counts. if you're carrying/getting good farm it's honestly sometimes a hassle to go back to base just to disassemble to save say 300-400 gold. Add in time spent away from lane where you could be farming and it just isn't worth it.

On a side note, I have updated a majority of the disassembly items in my OP. I am more than willing to discuss editing/removing the ones that are left just as we are here regarding the disassembly of a Genjuro into a Wingbow...

But yes...well, without getting into the theorycrafting behind all of it, I will say that the topic is debatable. Genjuro is a more defensive item and as such, it should be inferior in raw damage output to a Wingbow. Exactly how much more damage output do you gain? I think is the question we're both wondering and is it worth 2600g?

But in my opinion, and from experience, I can say with absolute certainty...it's a noticeable difference.

I think you're forgetting that when a Genjuro is disassembled, you're still left with an Assassin's Shroud.

Assassin's Shroud + Wingbow > Genjuro + (insert any item you can purchase for 2600g)?...This is the question that needs to be answered.

now it depends.juro also gives nice slow, but both juro and shroud get countered by vision.wingbow gets countered by savage.so i guess it depends on the enemy items aswell.

I've greatly reduced the number of disassembly tips to what I feel is a necessary degree. Again, these tips are very much open for debate as to whether they should be in my thread or not.

Also, I was thinking a bit more about the disassembly tips and I think the mentality I have regarding most of them is that I like having them because they are facts and I'm just leaving it up to you to decide whether or not the fact is worth acknowledging. Ya know, like I said...some disassemblies are pretty obviously not worthwhile, and some are, but many of them are debatable and I just don't have the time to theorycraft all of them. Not to mention I think many of the disassemblies are situational, and that makes them even more up to each individuals discretion to decide whether or not they are useful.

Disassemble a Barbed Armor or Steamboots to use the Apprentice's Robe in an Arcana, Barbed Armor or Nullfire Blade.

Why would you disassemble a barbed armor into a barbed armor?

because you built yourself more tanky and now want to make that arcana asap, meaning you will make your barbed armor later.sometimes when i don't have space but i need a few more gold i sell my mystic vest just to buy another one 2 minutes later.

I see what you're saying but that's not what the tip is actually suggesting...perhaps it is a bit confusing afterall.
Well, I'm trying to condense them into a format that briefly explains all of the disassembly procedures but at the same time isn't too confusing.

Basically I combined these 2 clauses:
Disassemble a Barbed Armor to use the Apprentice's Robe in an Arcana or Nullfire Blade.
    OR
Disassemble a Steamboots to use the Apprentice's Robe in an Arcana, Barbed Armor or Nullfire Blade.

I mean, technically yes, you could disassemble a Barbed Armor and reassemble it later...or something like that...I guess.
But that's not what I was going for.

Looking good. Here are some corrections and additional tips.

Nighthound can no longer pounce on gadgets/runes. Only units are targetable.

Parasite: Facehug steals Jera's protective charm and runes.

Electrician: Use cleansing shock to dispel runes or do alot damage to summoned units.

Use geometers bane to disjoint targeted stuns! Same goes with silhu ulti activation.
Geometers dispels most debuffs. Does dispel keeper root but doesn't slithers or salforis ulti.

-cthuluphant and parasite counter ophelia as they can "eat" her minions.I did in a practice and it works even if they are allies(can't test in normal mode if it works since nobody picks ophelia lol)
-parasite and ophelia counter slow junglers like legionnaire by minotaurs(or whatever other strong creeps like vagabonds, skelly's) harassment
    -ophelia is awesome.
-parasite and electrician or nullfire blade counter jera, and all 3 can dispell his ult/charm,runes,and many more buffs(or debuffs from allies).
-geometer's doesn't disjoint, but grants a split second of invulnerability(you can't disjoing a pyro/ws ult,but you can make it not damage you by being immune at the impact moment)

another one which i find neat:
parasite can steal tundra's pets.it is nice to turn tundra's hawk against himself(i think you can also go invis and do incredible ganks, initiations, etc.)
    a few more:
since pharaoh's soul gives 10 second vision(i guess?) you can use it to block creep spawns(like the pull camp).just make sure it hits at :55 for example.Other things that block spawns are emerald traps, engineer mines, scout wards, blaphagore puked corpses.
balphagore can eat corpses so creeps can spawn,or can puke corpses so creeps don't spawn.(you can do the same with gravekeeper but it is too useless)
