Custom maps???

It´s actually a simple question.
When will we begin to see custom maps from either the "Dream" or S2???
It was annaunced to come "Soon" in the early Beta, but well 2 years later and still no sign of it

Would appreciate an answer, since this is a question many HoN players is waiting to get answered...

I WANT CUSTOM MAPS!! So much fun with custom maps in Wc3, and it will be Awesome in HoN! Make it happen S2 please!

How so? Take a look on this idea a :

A - Player or a group of players develop a custom map and apply it to dream.
B - Custom map get voted and accepted by s2 and community.
C - Custom map is uploaded on servers weekly or monthly in a patch.
D - In order to play the map oficialy players have to purchase the map on store costing both gold coins and silver coins.
E - Map developers are allowed to update their accepted maps weekly or monthly.
F - 5238953289 players from warcraft 3 and many other games that still look for a place to play their so loved custom maps get their asses here in hon.
G - Player base drasticaly increase.
H - lots of new players buying coins, lots of new players playing the both hon and custom maps.
I - Profit ?

Things that may be slowing down s2 on this :

1 - Have to write a save/load function that would save the match both on client and server.
2 - Server capacity would have to be increased. This mean more servers.
3 - Maps would have to be hosted on s2 servers and to do that they would have to constantly mess with the servers making changes,updates and that would be very risky i supose.
4 -S2 would have to rewrite the entire game interface in order to add custom maps options.
5 - At start playerbase would definely try custom maps making matchmaking queues quite bigger.

It's definely possible but only s2 can answer with precision why no info on this and if they are or not going to do. And if they are, what's their priority on this.

HoN it's already "nearly" pay to win,doesn't need anymore BASE GAME CONTENT to be sold for money.tbh the day they will do a crap move like this i will quit hon for the last time...and i bet i'm not the only one

Already been ansered by S2 - it won't ever happen. Problems with the way the game is designed and controlling the content and how it interacts with other parts of the game (eg coins/stats).

IIRC something to do with it ould make hacking possible

If you mean "the ability to make custom maps", you already have it.

I'm unsure of the Dream functionality with regards to maps, I think preliminary support was added.

If you mean "the ability to play on game servers with custom maps", I believe this is not a priority for S2 due to the amount of work required in creating a model whereby custom maps containing abusive or malicious code can be ran on their game servers.
