Some of you may be thinking 512 is a bit high, however with the recent success of Clan Milk's tournament, having over 600 teams register in total for DreamHoN Regional Qualifiers, and the prize distribution, we feel 512 is a realistic mark. Additionally, the format of this tournament is a preview of things to come, as the Diamond Division of HoN Tour will be run almost exactly the same way.

Please feel free to leave constructive criticism in this thread, additionally any questions pertaining to the DreamHoN Online Summer Championships may be asked here as well.

    Game HoN!

    Edit: Updated schedule
Edit: BTW here is a cool desktop background Cami made for you to enjoy!

Should be do-able, especially with South America and some SEA teams in the mix!

Ya I don't think you guys planned this too well. What is the point of this? You're just going to lose half your viewers, at the least.

Please explain. I would think giving everyone a nice day long break to prepare would be encouraged.

Excluding the die-hard HoN fans, why tune into this grand final when you have alternative choices that are much, much bigger? Many people watch more than one game in this genre and it seems like this weekend these people will not be watching HoN.

It's the same time as the International and PAX. I still watch competitive HoN, but there's no ****ing way I'm skipping any International games to watch this.

I can't imagine very many more people watching these games once you account for the people that HATE Dota2, extremely die hard HoN fans, or the actual teams participating in the grand final... to be honest now if you guys change the dates now it makes you look... uhhh...

I had honestly completely forgotten about the International being on those dates, which is silly considering the anticipation behind it, so I'll have a talk with Diva and get this all sorted out. Doesn't really make us look bad, I would think. It's not like we'd be copping out by changing the date of it. It's no secret that both games share similar viewers, and going up against a tournament as large as The International IS foolish.

Thanks for bringing it to my attention :]

No problem man, yeah I guess if you figured it out soon enough it's fine. You probably should've known about these dates though :/

not that anyone in your office could reminded you of the international when they saw the schedule. but kinda lame that you did not check whats happening at those dates, don't you think? when i read thoses dates for the finals i thought man he must be completly out of his mind to make it the same date as the international, but then i realized he just did not prepare his work enough. but anyways, you have still time to improve, right? good luck

So just curious was anyone going to say something if I didn't? Or am I officially the savior of the DreamHoN Online Summer Finals?

    server

    erver Selection and Game Rules:
    1. Teams roll for server choice, losing Team hosts best server of winning Team’s choices.
U guys should give a look on this, like we BRs cant play on EU, and USW is pretty lag, we play USE with 200ping, usw with 250-280ping, and EU with 300+ping, u guys could please give a look on this, and do a better sv choice, like clan milk tournament did?? thanks!
ing Team hosts best server of winning Team’s choice

"8. Teams should remake in Banning Pick (banning and picking the same heroes) and replay the match if a server crashes unintentionally before the 7:30 mark."

That line in the rules section might need some changes?
