    Shroud bonus damage

How does the bonus damage from Shroud/Genjuro apply on first attack out of shroud?
Say for example, if you use an attack spell such as nomad's true strike or something along those lines, does it stack on top of that?
Or if you cast any spell first to get out of shroud, does your auto attack still have the damage? Or does the auto attack have to be what gets you out of stealth?

You've got the be stealth then auto attack. Also you lose the bonus if you use a spell, then auto attack. And AFAIK it works perfectly with Nomad's passive.

It stacks on top of everything. Treat the +125 bonus damage as item damage (since shroud gives +40 dmg, it's like having a +165 damage item for one attack). This means that crits, splash/cleave, and lifesteal work off that enhanced damage.

Only three heroes have automatic critical attacks that can be guaranteed to benefit from shroud: Nomad, Scout, and Puppet Master
Madman and Swiftblade crits are chance based, so you have to get some luck.
Gladiator gets an honorable mention due to the huge true damage splash.

If you cast a spell while invis, it removes the buff completely including the damage bonus. The attack must be what breaks the stealth for it to work.

    off topic:
    Genjuro Scout...
    1. Activate Genjuro
    2. Automatic Disarm Genjuro CRIT coming out of stealth
    3. Quick Electric Eye Silence
    4. Vanish attack x4 while slowed from Genjuro
    5. Start channeling ultimate
    6. Genjuro again (invis while ulting)
    7. After ult finishes, still invis from Genjuro with enhanced movespeed
    8. Catch up to them, another automatic Disarm Genjuro CRIT coming out of stealth (this should be enough to kill any single target)
    9. Vanish cooldown up again to escape the retaliating enemy team

Thanks MacroHard! Glad they hired you~
And I'm going to try that scout build later.
Your RAP is going to have nine people reporting me for troll builds though :c

Another question, if shroud only propagates to your auto attack exiting stealth, when people say to have maximum damage doing the puppet master combo where you puppet them and then show to make them attack their puppet, and then splash hitting both, the shroud doesn't do anything except get you close right?

Correct. If you ult to break the invis you lose out on the bonus damage. However, the splash hitting the puppet is still more than using the bonus damage with the crit, so it's not a bad way to go by any means.
perhaps PK close, ult, assassin's, then crit with bonus AND splash??

Are you sure that nomads passive counts as crit ? I was sure that the mechanis are like with gunblade and nh - you get red number but it only indicates that you done bonus dmg not a critical attack meaning you can enchance that dmg with riftshards proc.

Nomad's passive is an actual critical strike.

    nomad passive is a crit

and puppet could also genjuro close, ult, genjuro again and attack.

So every second autoattack on nomad when your attacking straight forward cannot be a crit from rift ?

Damn thats depressing and i thought that rng is ****ing me up on midwars :P

Gonna try that with scout. Pretty sure though that you are not invis anymore once the ult finished.
    Hi =)

its about genjuros fayde time which lets you take an action before you actually get the invis status

For a moment there I thought you were suggesting genjuro on Fayde.

    I almost tried it.
