Changes in OT.

Simply make another OT subforum called Debate. Regulate anything controversial into that forum. Anything that isn't going to draw much argumentative attention can fill the void here in regular OT as long as it's not a game or outright spam (BB). Yes anything can get debatable on an internet forum but the obvious stuff should go somewhere else so as to avoid casual nonsense that buries regular posters. A forum for people looking specifically for debate, if you will. The intelligence of the forum should be put in plain English in it's own subforum rules sticky.

It will at least localize trouble a little bit more. I've seen it done on other forums with prolific posters who consistently create or participate in such threads. They're looking for it so might as well make a place for it.

It's worth a thought. I'd like to hear ideas from other people about how that might work.

Considering a single person can **** up an entire game by fake-claiming Scout, I don't want the General Discussion trolls being invited.

Im just thinking of ways to get more people to O.TBut I agree there are a lot of the G.D people I wouldnt want here.

I would definitely do something like this if we had more people, but as of right now the forum is simply too small for that. We can't divide it into subforums without more traffic.
