Worst EVO in a long while, absolutely no hype surrounding the main event because Daigo getting bodied early and Infiltration's dominance. I mean wow Mortal Kombat and King of Fighters got more hype than Street Fighter, the whole place just seemed dead, the crowd was disaffected.
SSF2T got more hype than Street Fighter arguably and that game is 18 years old, Daigo being there for that one helped too but the finals for ST were simply much better with much more hype.
KoF hype was the best, followed by SC5.
MK9 and AE were okayish.
mahvel and VF is blah.
SFxT was a disaster.

I'm so disappointed Fagilipino Champ won. Infrint had two matches in the second set he could have won easily by doing one move instead of another, but he basically threw the game.
F. Champ is probably the sorest winner I've ever seen. Whenever he beats someone he complains about their fighting style, and how even though he won they were cheap, etc.
He's like the ChrisG of winning. It's terrible. And now that's going to bloat his ego even more. There's a reason the crowd was cheering for Infrit and people didn't even know who he was.
Bleh, I waited like 6 hours for AE to start, and it was so meh. Daigo got bodied and it was just kind of.. Boring. Would've liked to see GamerBee take it, but that Akuma sure was beast.
I really dislike mahvel, but I got more hype about that than AE. Too bad Champ took it in the end :/
KoF... Damn man, that was some crazy ****. I've only recently started watching it, but it's easy to understand and get hyped about. Grand Finals was brilliant.
Dont know what to think of this years evo. I think I hyped myself too much.
Ps unfortunately I missed SC5 finals, I heard it was excellent though. Might have to watch replay

UMvC3 finals was a huge letdown! I was rooting for Infrit in the end, but he just screwed up too many times in the end.
I've never played UMvC3 (nor KoF) but I found ChrisG and F Champ's playstyles so incredibly cheesy. Same with the Mexican that used MODOK.... Hue hue hue. I fly up here and use bomb, mad bro/viewers?
And Yipes played soo sloppy... But at least he got to comment the final 8, so there was some good about that.
