tl;dr 1.How do I become a good fayde player,and how do I stop one from dominating my team?
2.codex seems to be core on her since dota.Should i build ghostmarchers on her and then 3k for codex or should i make codex from 2k+punchdaggers?Should i upgrade boots to striders or let them red and upgrade them later to something else?I saw that post haste might be an option,but those 2k gold would be more useful on a fast hellflower or codex upgrade.So what would be viable?Running with red boots sucks as a GANKER!striders seem nice but i tend to switch them to something else(that i don't really know).
Some pick fayde because of reasons,i pick her because i like going mid.I saw faydes that simply fail to play that hero and i saw amazing players that were constantly owning me/my team.The point is that a few counter her in 1500 with wards/eye,and even if those do counter her like that,there are fayde players that read the skills and know that she can just run through trees,and avoid those wards/eye.This is where my problem comes.I know how to g through trees but i sometimes waste my ult since they know i come to gank them.(they got ward,ult at lvl 6 doesn't have a very big duration)
3.how to get codex asap and maximize its effect?meaning that getting codex asap,you also must upgrade it asap.What is an efficient time to get it?I see faydes getting it minute 15,i see Testie get it maxupgraded minute 15,i see pubfaydes getting 1st level at minute 20 etc.(also taking 2nd question in account if it should be upgraded from gmarchers or not).you have one farming tool(1st skill) and if you lose one gank because they have wards,you also lose time which can be spent farming mid.
4.how to counter a good fayde?both early(if i am against her mid,what should lanes do?) and late(even with an eye,she can appear from the trees out of nowhere).Fayde seems to have success against teams that don't ward their lane/runespot,even if i call the miss i still see her getting one kill in the lane she ganks(even if they hide in trees behind tower,that is where she actually wants them to stay to kill them).I know if i am into a lane,i can get wards and try to stun her.But what if she hides in trees?
5.i see a lot of people telling on the forums to get an eye and to scout for enemy wards because her ult gives clearvision etc.But that doesn't mean that you waste your ult instead of using it to gank?Now i know that destroying the enemy wards has importance,but also a dead carry has.Also,when should that eye be bought?after maxing codex?anytime?after hellfower?
6.why is she agility anyway?her atk speed at maxlevel is nothing,getting carry items on her doesn't make her carry.Why did s2 designed her to be agility?not even when she first appeared(with her old 2 stances,scythe or w/e),she couldn't carry.why not make her int?
7.how do you use pkey on her?is it viable?

I loved to play the old fayde, but now I just pick something else to stomp. Even tho she wasnt even changed a lot.
1. Remember basic mid things, nothing more I guess. Push lane before runes, use abilities to cs and harras at the same time etc...
2. I like to get ghost marchers and split it to codex. I rush those items with bottle and tps only. After codex lvl 1 I get steamboots, vestments and something else if needed (locket, psupply, rott etc). After codex lvl 1 I like to get pk, I think pk is awesome item on fayde, because with pk you can line your stun easily to hit many heroes and you dont need your ult to gank as effectively. After pk something situational like hellflower, hex, tablet, cyclone, puzzlebox (actually very nice item). I dont like upgrading codex or buying spellshards.
3.farm, kill your opponent mid, gank if you can get double kill
4.She is easy to beat with most of the popular mid heroes. She is easy to harras out of the lane, she has to get next to creeps to push the lane remember to punish her hard everytime she does it, dont get nuked if she doesnt use stun. Later just get an eye, most of the pubfaydes will have theyre codex lvl 5 and boots so they are very easy to kill.
5.Eye is awesome item to get as a fayde, you dont need to use your ult to find wards, they might lie on the ground or you can spot them with courier/pk into high grounds. I ask my support to get one when I reach 11, if they dont get it I will buy it after codex, steams and other early game items.

2.why not upgrade codex?i agree spellshards are bad,but upgrading codex offers you an easy doublekill(ult+combo one,combo+codex the other).Also,why pkey?i mean you can just ult and walk through trees all the way.why waste 2k gold?
4.yeah i can beat her mid,the problem is that she can just stay back,get xp and gank at 6 a lane that has no wards(and even if they have she can just go through trees)
6.as a matter a fact i shouldn't care,but she has a bit of "mana problems" early,solved by bottle,codex,hf later.If she were int she could spam her spells more often i guess.still don't know why they made her agil.
4. Thats the problem why fayde is nice pubstomper, with idiot team who doesnt listen misscalls, doesnt ward etc... she will just dominate the game even tho you beated her mid.

4.soooooo how do i beat her if i am midlane against her?i just yell at these guys and after that they might listen i just know the game is lost if the enemy picks mb/fayde,just because we can't organise anything against them.
6.i was thinking about farming with 1st skill a bit more,since she lacks a farming mecha(2nd skill doesn't affect creeps,in dota it does)
PK Flint owns. Easier to PK to that awesome spot in the trees during fights instead of Shrouding your way through. :P

leveling up codex is sometimes a bad choice if they get nullstone. for the 4k you're going to spend adding only 400 (actually somewhere in the 300s after magic armor) damage, you can spend it on some other item that will benefit you and your team way more. hellflower and hex are great ways to shutdown the opposing sides carry after you've combo'd them.
Codex is for sniping down supports and squishy heroes.
Fayde does not do enough damage to insta kill every hero (Which Pebbles can do early on).
Codex makes her teamindependent in ganks.
It still is a 400 damage burst.

You need to go mid, block the creeps and let the ranged creep in front, if ur facing a melee mid you can do fine with rune of blight + hatched.
At lvl 3 you can get creepkills + harrass enemy hero with ur Cull (be sure to get 2 or more creeps or it's not worth it), before the 2minute mark you should have ur bottle (if ur facing melee since you didnt buy shield) and a bit later against range.
The first rune is very important for ur hero, but remind ONLY GET THE RUNE AFTER THE LANE IS PUSHED, otherwise you will lose experience (thats why I said harrass with cull and get creeps).
After you have the first rune, you can keep harrasing and push the lane at the 3:40 mark for the 2nd rune and keep it up till lvl 6, at that point push the lane once again and go either top or bottem for a kill or two.
Build ghost marchers, break them, make codex lvl 1 (NOTE DO NOT MAKE CODEX 2 BEFORE YOU HAVE PK). thats it.
once they have it, your lv 5 codex becomes useless in solo ganks on an opposing carry.
a good well babysitted carry should have null by 20-25 easily if they know they're going against a fayde... i'd skip damage for survivability because i'd rather do meh damage yet be alive than have crap farm because i've died 4-5 times before 25 minutes.
Testie is also a top tier player who probably got some good ganks/kills early boosting his gpm. Either that, or he got every ck up till then, which wouldn't have been too hard since he's known for his farming ability.
