To all serious gamers, tryhards, and soloqueue ninjas out there,
Blackfade is currently looking to grow its community under the leadership and direction of several well-known and respected players. We are looking for respectful, dedicated, and knowledgeable players who are looking to expand their overall game knowledge and intuition.
WHO WE LOOKING FOR
Blackfade is looking to find players with certain qualities, namely; a fluid understanding of game mechanics, team play, cooperation, roles, and what it takes to win. The Blackfade community will be direct representatives of our organization and our competitive team. We expect our players to act with diligence, professionalism, and respect.
WHAT WE CAN OFFER
Ideally, our community hopes to act as a stepping stone for average public players to develop the essentials of higher tier play. Community members will be provided a copy of “The Black Code” by FJ. This Code is an elaborate write-up of steps, tactics, techniques, skills, and focus areas to accelerate the average players’ development into a top-notch player. The Code has input and insight from some of the best players in the game like NoVa.
The structure this community and The Code will provide, along with a Clan List of other dedicated members just like you, will give you the tools you need to reevaluate the way you play this game.
We will also be making teams in the community and have them all participate in Community Tournaments and Events.
There will also be events hosted by us for you guys such as Community In-Houses, Community Tournaments, and Community Giveaways! There will be more events in the future as well.

MMR: 1650 and above
This is to ensure that we have players that really want to learn. Read this thread here for more information.

We want members that will read through the guide and will take neccessary steps from the guide and follow it. We also want members that is proudly supporting this community and work together as a team following the guide. The teams will be set up and we want members that will put their committment into the team they are in.

The previous post was a repost of Dafcee's original recruitment thread. Many changes have occurred within the organization since then, including the disband of Blackfade.HoN and the departure of Dafcee from the organization. However, the community clan is still active and recently picked up an official sponsor. You can look forward to cash prize tournaments and other exciting competitions.

A good portion of it, particularly the sections for newer players, were lessons I'd already learned from my years of playing dota/hon. Whatever was there that I did not already know I read completely, and I learned quite a bit from doing so.
Why should you be considered as Blackfade Community Member?
Well, I think I'm a skilled and dedicated player who is looking to improve. I keep up with the competitive scene and am very interested in the strategic side of the game. The advent of lockpick is awesome, I think, as the few times I've played it I've noticed just how much depth there is to the strategy. I'd like to join the blackfade community so that I can play on a team of 5, where the 4 other individuals also care about creating a team with synergy and working together, rather than each just playing whatever suits their fancy. I'm willing to take and give constructive criticism, and I can put a lot of hours into the game.

Roles: I can play whatever the team needs. I seem to be better at Support if I have someone to rely on to carry. I have always enjoyed supporting in every game I've played. However, I can also be counted on to mid, jungle, or gank. Some of my favorite heroes to play are Engineer, Glacius, Martyr, Accursed, Doctor Repulsor, Pharoah, Pandamonium, Magmus, Electrician, Flux, Tempest, and Myrmidon (to name a few). I can play almost anything.
Experience: I have next to no 'team' experience in Heroes of Newerth. I had lots of competitive experience in World of Warcraft when I played during the Burning Crusade. I've been playing HoN avidly since closed beta, but have only played with a couple close friends and random people I encounter in those games. Not to toot my own horn, but I know nearly everything there is to know about this game. I watch competitive games when I can, but I mostly enjoy playing and learning things for myself (like how to draft a good team).

Why should you be considered as Blackfade Community Member? I consider myself upfront and foremost a team player. I do whatever it takes to win, whether that be warding, ganking, or initiating and sacrificing myself for a 1 for 5. I want to take my gameplay to the next level by playing with like-minded individuals who enjoy this game as much as I do. I haven't played much Lockpick yet, but I am looking forward to doing that. I have played this game at a quite decent lvl, but stopped taking it so serious when i joined the military(for 1 year, half way there). I have played at 1900 rating, smurfed 1800 with 90% win etc but currently only play solo/with friends. Usually i solo my way up to 1800ish then play with IRLs down to 1750ish. I`m looking for good players to team up with whenever im able to play. We got decent internet on camp so im usually available 3-4 hours a day when im on, which is every other week. When im at home i can play whenever. For what its worth i also played WoW at a quite high lvl, was r13 worldwide druid at my peak, r1 balance druid(rating wise on AJ).
I am looking to play more serious now and perhaps join a team seeing that my current camp has a good internet connection

I'm wanting to get very far in the competitive scene for HoN and I feel like I have the abilities to do so. I've playing for a very long time and I know every hero very well. I understand rotations and how to fortify and well... the basics. I like competition; in fact I thrive on it.

Great team player; I have no problem playing any role the team really needs. Also don't whine and ***** when I don't get to play the role I want. I practice on a lot of heroes and shine on a quite a few of them. Love playing with people that know what they are doing and have a great time doing so, which most people enjoy in the HoN community lol :P.

I look at myself as an excellent player in more than one way.
I know how to draft, i know most of the stuff ingame and can execute alot of it aswell.
I am a teamplayer, i enjoy being a part of a team/community, having fun, playing, hosting LANs and what not to come.
I dont get mad at people for mistakes (hey everybody makes em) and if they happen to occour more than once, ill just give the person my input on how to improve.
I am looking to take my gaming to abit more competitie and higher level and im feeling this would be the right jump for me.
