Backdoor in the RAP function...

Why is backdooring reportable? I thought it was a viable tactic it is listed under other. Also how do i report someone for abusing kick vote, there doesn't seem to be a category for it. There are also other odd reportable things, like reporting someone for rage quitting, and funniest of all PLAYING POORLY? I geuss me and and every other player in the 1500 range should be banned...

Also, 9 man vote kicks are something S2 aren't gonna interfere with, if all 9 players don't want you in their game then they have the right to remove you.

its there because they dont want the forums spammed with 'plz put backdooring in RAP' and have mods answer questions here. Its easier to do it in the RAP system itself.

Such a kickvote is not that bad, since you still get the mmr and stats for the game. The only thing that happens is that the game is listed as a lose in your matchhistory.
Besides from that, kickvotes don't happen that often anyway.

Yes it doesn't happen often but that doesn't change the fact that an undeserved votekick is wrong, and it shouldn't matter how often something happens for it to be judged.


To those of you who use the argument that if 9 people vote yes, there is no way the votekick is undeserved:
- Just because 9 people voted yes, doesn't mean that they actually thought the guy deserved a kick, most people just vote yes for the sake of it OR do it for their own interests (kick enemy = 4v5)
- Even if all 9 people actually made an unbiased and objective judgement of the player being voted for kicking, and they all genuinely believe he deserves a kick, doesn't mean that those 9 people are right. Most people in hon are pretty ignorant and i would not trust their judgement with anything.

So with that said, I'm sure there are kickvotes that are deserved, but there are also plenty that aren't. I feel like you guys are aware of this, and the decision was made to not include it in RAP because you found it too hard to actually decide what deserves a kick and what doesn't. Which is a cop-out, in my opinion. Would like to see this decision reversed, all kinds of griefing should be punishable in this game.

I think it is safe to say that 90 % of the votekicks with 9/10 players kicking 1 is kick for the wrong reasons.

And that 90 % of the times a votekick gets declined by the other team because it is better not to kick him at that point( free gold cause u can kill him each minute or some1 raged quit 1 hour into the game and not comming back for sure well better push now before they get his items that might win the game. But kicking him to let them get the items faster? Who would help the other team =/)

Still it might only happen in 2 or 3 % off the games but still the votekick system is just realy wrong and should be changed/deleted...

Agreed. Got kicked because I "ks'd" the whole game. Well, yeah I grabbed MANY kills...but I had the most assists aswell. My team (2 groups of 2 mates) got angry and started the vote - enemies got destroyed by us and thus accepted the vote, too. Result: I was kicked.
But that's rather rare, while the obvious trolls who play poor on purpose NEVER get kicked. Atleast 1!! of the enemy team is a douche and failing the vote.


Edit: from time to time, I queue with a friend and we go Scout+nh and codex and trash the 1400-1500 bracket. You won't believe me how many votekicks were targeted at us...and SUPRISE they couldn't do so since we were 2 mates.

The reason why you believe that 90% of the time a vote kick is for the wrong reason is because the people who get votekicked for the right reason never complain because they were griefing.

@dushan: If you have 3 bad players on your team that really want to concede the game then them kicking you was most likely doing you a favor as it saved you time. Being votekicked does not give you a leaver it gives you a loss and you will receive whatever +- mmr comes from the outcome of the game. All they did by kicking you was make it so you did not have to put up with them for a longer period of time and deal with the frustration of fighting a losing battle.

As for people getting kicked right near the end of the game before your team wins, yes it does stink that you get a loss but that is the only stat negatively effected and I highly doubt people care that you have an extra loss on your record if every other stat is still good.
