You don't have to be a member of a group to advertise for it. You're either advertising or being irritating for the sake of it. By referring to my "community" with inverted commas it's quite obvious you're being condescending without any prior knowledge of who we are. Yes, we are a community - you'll notice that half of the people in the channel are friends and non-clan members who come to talk and get some games with us (we welcome anyone into our channel who's friendly and they may request to join and leave as they please). Similarly, by saying "ADON has so much more to offer" I'm honestly not sure you know what you're comparing before making sweeping statements like that. What is clear for a start is that if your attitude as demonstrated so far is any representation of ADON then we certainly have better manners and more maturity to offer! Either way, please keep your comments, *facts*, and *non advertisements* to yourself or in another thread please - the purpose of this thread is to expand a friendly community for all skill levels, not for you to *not advertise* with your condescending, unfounded and quite frankly untrue comments.
As for your original rhetoric question, I feel that I should address some of the points you've brought up.
- We're a friendly, non-elitist community. We welcome everyone, whilst also catering for those who are competitive with a team. Perhaps you have higher MMR players. Does that mean they're better? No. I've carried a few [ADON] members recently, and you're welcome to go check my recent games for it.
- "Bigger": You have more members perhaps. Epoch has more members than you. There are many fish in the sea, and bigger does not necessarily mean better by any means.
- "Better known": Everyone starts from somewhere. Microsoft was well known while Apple was an indie company. League of Legends is bigger, better known and has more players than HoN, and yet here you are.
- On a final note, every successful community requires a good leader/leaders. Those who know me can make judgements on whether I'm a good leader or not, and you're welcome to ask anyone in the [D] channel their opinions on me be they good or bad and make up your own mind. Without getting to know me you'll never know! What I would say is that I'm always there for those that need my help and if someone has my back I've sure got theirs - and I believe the best leaders are those who don't proclaim themselves as such. It's what you do that counts, not what you preach.
Forgive me if I've been excessive in my response, but it is annoying when someone spreads things about our community without good reason. If you feel that way, that's cool but please keep it out of this thread. No hard feelings
I belive I had very good reason to state the things I did, ADON has 200+ members (most of them being 1600 I suppose), They are better known since they used to play competitive and had some good wins behind them. Im sure you have carried alot of ADON people since they are 1600, but the better players are alot better than you.

I dont see how my opinions and posts have been aggressive at all, I mean this is a forum, its here so we can debate and discuss different topics. How is it insulting to compare you and your team to some other team????? Its a game thats supposed to be played vs other people or teams and Im pretty sure ADONs top 5 players are better than Ds top 5 players - why? Cuz i have never seen someone with the tag D, ever.
