    Gauntlet old mechanics

Old Gauntlet was release on May 13, 2010,for the record.

When Old Gauntlet was release on May 13, 2010. Can he or can't he use his grapple skill similar to Devourer gattling hook?

This debate is whether or not Old Gauntlet "Grapple" skill can grab enemy's towards you (Similar to Devourer Guttling hook).

LET ME SAY THIS 1 MORE TIME "OLD GAUNTLET OF MAY 13, 2010"

I already know the current gauntlet has this skill.

If anyone has proof show me please.

Let me clarify this alittle more. Was gauntlet able to hook someone towards him when gauntlet is stationary during his skill use. [ Old gauntlet of may 13, 2010] This is past references. Just curious.

I believe so, you grappled them to your target destination and then grapple yourself & them towards the new vector direction.

Nope, It was the point where the vector targeting started that was "meeting point". You could not "hook" with it.

    Used theli's hondiff website properly:

As you can see, Gauntlet's Grapple had no forcerange, so you can easily Grapple at your feet and then vector it in a direction. Therefore, you technically can "hook" units towards you. You're correct about the "meeting point" being the place where you targeted, but you can still "hook" units towards your feet with Grapple this way. I admit my memory was a little hazy, but technically the OP's question is answerable in the fashion such that "you can hook the units towards your feet".

Youd have to note though that the range was significantly lower, since afaik no matter where you targeted, the vector grapple part always had a fixed length (of 400? really dont know this one)

Thank you for some what answering my question. I am some what satisfied with the answer b/c technically Gauntlet can "hook" per se, just in a different way than devourer. So thanx for the replys.

I'm actually pretty sure it was tapping the skill twice, also I remember him able to be hooking around corners.

Doubletapping the skill will start the grappling vector at your feet and draw the line towards your facing direction. You can achieve the same thing by targeting your own feet yourself and drawing the line towards the unit you want to hook.
