I agree. Considering all that our government gives out, we pay very little in taxes for them. I work a full time and working on my MBA, and I live really comfortably (I share an apartment, have insurance, a car, paying off my student loans, and plenty in savings and extra to spend on stuff) so I wouldn't mind higher taxes if we could just get enough to balance the budget on the government programs we do have.
But yeah, most Americans aren't willing to do the same, and saying you'll raise taxes to help balance the budget for the programs offered and to add new ones won't get you voted in. x)

I find that hard to believe. For example if someone is unskilled and on low wage then they'll definitely have a higher quality of living in somewhere like Denmark. The USA's HDI actually ranks worse than many European countries if it is adjusted to reflect the inequalities within American society. http://hdr.undp.org/en/statistics/ihdi/
Americans can afford to pay for their own schooling. Other countries people can not afford to go to school unless the government pays for it because they have been taxed into poverty. I think the presentation was correct, it shows how jealous other countries are of the most powerful country in existence and they are baffled how democracy has worked. Also it does not explain why 1/2 of India is going to school in America to become dentists. Please pull out a graphic presentation to explain that. They can go to school for no charge in their country but instead they decide to move to the US to go to school. Thats right, education is better if the government does not control every aspect of it, like most things in life. Clearly they are against private schooling then they are against enterprise.
Lastly the proof America is bad is that everyone wants to immigrate here. Why would they do that if everything is so good at home?
Really? Because I have 4 bank accounts an no one gave me a gun, I had to buy mine. If they wanted to though they could. Something to do with right to bear arms, something most of you do not enjoy.

Real talk, your country is a massive pile of ****. Period. You get raised to be dumb and then you end up being dumb. It all works out, apparently. Maybe because India is a 3rd world country? You have the crimerates of a third world country, which leads you to buying guns to defend yourself which leads to more crimes again. And don't come and tell me that crimes happen with stolen guns - no ****. Where do you think they steal them from?

yeah it does actually our nation is a little over 200 years old and we still dominate the world, How long has everyone else been around rofl. You may be right that germany does not pose a threat like terrist countries but thats because of america kicking their asses and showing them whats up. You were all getting **** on till we showed up on normandy.
Also today we support the second greatest nation ever, Israel. They are our little version of america that will kick the Arab terrist asses (killed my people in 9/11). That includes terrist palaestinans trying to kill innocent israelies. What does any other country do? exactly, we train and arm this little america so it can defend itself against terrorists.
