    Scout is underpowered, Balance suggestion.

    The new scout is ridiculously underpowered compared to the old one, and has less chance to carry the game. He has lost his nme as a carry and remains as pure ganker.

    Honestly, even tho the avarage of the crits is higher, the ammount of crits in 4 attacks in row is ONE (1). Which decreases Scouts possible damage by (Damage*1.5)*4,
    in the old version at lvl 8, the damage would be somewhere around (60 * 1,5) = 90 * 4 = 360 Physical Damage.
    and in the new one the damage is (60 * 1.5) = 90 + ((60 * 3) = 180) = 270 Physical Damage.

    Thats 90 possible damage reduction. Decreasing scout carrying potential, and only thing that makes it more sad is that Riftshards can't crit over Disarm.

    My suggestion is that Riftshards critical is possible to crit over his Disarm, which would deal the following damage at lvl 8.
    (((60+75) * 1,5) = 202,5 * 2,4 (Riftshards level 4 in this case.)) = 486 + (((60+75) * 2,4) = 324 * 3) = 972)= 1456 Physical Damage.

    And with Riftshards level 1
    (((60+45) * 1,5) = 157,5 * 1,8 (Riftshards level 4 in this case.)) = 283,5 + (((60+45) * 1,8) = 189 * 3) = 567)= 850,5 Physical Damage.

    And without Riftshards
    60 * 1,5 = 90 + ((60 * 3) = 180) = 270 Physical Damage.

    Colors Explained :
    Red - Possible maxium damage of the first attack.
    Yellow - Possible maxium damage of the 3 attacks.
    Green - Possible total damage.
    Gray - Critical multiplier of Disarm
    Pink - Critical multiplier of Riftshards
    Blue - Magic Damage from Thunderclaw


    With level 4 Riftshards in inventory before level 8, this would be impossible, so this wouldnt be OP, and on top of that, Riftshards have 20% chance to proc on each attack, meaning that it is very unlikely to crit every attack. Riftshards level 4 cost 5500 Gold.

    Similar damage is done by using Thunderclaw (2900 Gold),
    at level 8 ((60 * 1,5) = 90 + 150) = 240 + ((60 + 150) * 3) = 630 = 870 Mixed Damage.


    Gold / Damage / Chance / Name
    5500 Gold / 1456 / 20% / Riftshards Level 4
    2650 Gold / 850- / 10% / Riftshards Level 1
    2900 Gold / 870- / 20% / Thunderclaw

    I had the same idea as you, which I appreciate. Anyway current tweaks to Scout's new Disarm are being discussed internally .

    You may repost this under Balance or Suggestions - while this thread does have math in it, it's ultimately a Suggestion and I can't allow those in Mechanics.
