    Ophelia hotkeys

    Hey,

I'm trying to learn Ophelia and have played her a few games, most of the time with great success. However, I feel that I handicap myself because I just don't know how to hotkey properly. I already have another hotkey for courier so that is not needed.

This is how I hotkey, using the numberkeys on the top of the keyboard.

    1. Ophelia
    2. Ophelia + creeps
    3. Creep 1
    4. Creep 2
    5. Creep 3

I originally had only the creeps (no Ophelia) on 3 but that just felt like way too many hotkeys. If any experienced Ophelia player could help me out getting hotkeys that are easier to access or if there is any neccesary hotkey that I don't use, I would appreciate any help!

    Thanks,
    Envisionise

I play very much ophelia and I just tab my creeps, got used to that because my item slots are in 1-5. I dont see any problem how your doing it, just get used to those hotkeys and youll be fine I guess.

I'm by no means a good Ophelia player but earlygame I get whatever I can get my hands on (preferably minotaurs or catmen, sometimes skeleton king and vagabond leader only if nothing else exists). Lategame you may want a Wolf commander but earlygame you should be more focused on ganking the lanes.

Ye it does but it is very squishy so if the team has even the slightest aoe (or the slightest competence to take wolf down fast) he will just be a waste of time.

    Good for stomping newbs though.

It's usually best to have one bind for Ophelia, only; one for all creeps; and one for Ophelia and all creeps. It's not necessary to have a separate bind per creep unless you are a SCBW player and need to get your uberl33t micro on, though I doubt you'd be posting here if you were.

Your primary bind is going to be the third bind (Ophelia + creeps). This is the EASIEST method to use for ganking, pushing and teamfighting, while still giving you freedom to move around separately from your creeps if teamfighting gets dangerous. Early game, you want to use mostly Minotaurs and Catmen since they have more survivability for pushing towers and the AOE stun/slow is amazing. To gank someone, all you need to do (if you only have Catmen/Minos) is walk out of woods and slow the target (Oph's Q), then tab, Q, then tab, count to one at a normal speed, Q, tab, "one", Q. If you have creeps other than Minos/Catmen, which are target activation, then make sure you tab through your creeps several times so you know what order your creeps are in via tab.

Since the question was brought up about what creeps to use, you generally want Catmen and Minotaurs early on since they can take towers better (they can tank tower hits), they are easy mode for ganking since they don't have target-activation skills and they have AOE CC. Later into the game, you may want to grab a Wolf Commander to give your team some added DPS. Skeleton Kings are decent substitiutions since they have a reliable single target cc, though two minos and a wolf are pretty amazing lategame. In some circumstances, those ranged easy creeps that slow and slow attack speed are incredible if used correctly.

Now I've never played Ophelia and I'm very super noobie.

But I've heard that lategame you want to go for something along the lines of Ice Ogre and other creeps which can buff your team with auras because while the Minotaurs' and Skelly's and Catmen's stuns and damage are great and all against level 5 opponents, the level 18 ones can just rip them to shreads. There is a guide out there that I'll try to find.

EDIT: HERE WE GO!!! http://forums.heroesofnewerth.com/sh...elia-in-Detail Tells you pretty much everything about the creeps you need to know.

Yes, team buffs are nice, but that level of micro is difficult for some players while learning Ophelia. Also, Ice ogres are really good for the armor and wolves are great for the damage aura, but multiple AOE stuns/slows never lose their efficacy.
