best non mid solo queue heroes?

I'd say the best bet would be a tank like Armadon, Amun-ra or Accursed

i'd say ra since you can farm easier than armadon and accu.

Yeah tort is amazing and extremely versatile. Get a helm, pushstick and RoS/Chalice before working on a big mana regen item like a nullstone or sheepstick. Just stack tank items and mana regen and jump into the middle of a fight wrecking their whole team with your massive AoE awesomeness.

Actually it isn't going to be helpful that I made this thread. I wonder what top players would recommend. But people here are all retarded and generally below 1400 anyway.

You shouldn't reply to someone negatively when you started a thread that was going to get attention. To be honest, he's right to some degree. Stomping a bracket with 1 hero might work, but do you have any Idea what happens to players who reach high brackets only knowing 1 hero? I'll let you figure that one out. Oh, and before you look at my stats and pesonally attack me about my PSr/MMR which i never really do much stats anyway on this account, my real one is "Daniel".

I asked in plural. Some heroes are going to be better than others. Maybe he can't read. Maybe he is delusional. I don't know. But he just decided to insult me like if I was asking for 1 hero to magically 'stomp a bracket' with. Which is absolutely a fantastic statement and can only possibly be explained by him wanting to grief.

Only one hero? Wtf are you guys even talking about. Maybe you guys played your first 200 HoN games with only 1 hero, but if so not everyone is a 13 year old with way below average mental capabilities, which I guess is what it takes for someone to play only 1 hero.


People like him and you (you are probably the same person anyway) can't be called out and bashed enough. It's the type of people that make HoN such an immature and terrible community.

I even ask for top 5 and no one even bothered to do that. I guess next time I'll ask people to make a top 100 or whatever the current hero pool is at. That will avoid the '1 hero stomp to magically get out a bracket you belong to anyway'.
Also, I never even said anything about me being in a bracket I think I shouldn't be in it. So that's like a triple veiled insulted. Well, not really veiled actually.

For solo Q I would prefer heroes that are versitile.

I would recommend Demented Shaman (A good solo hero, a really good lane support, a decent semicarry thanks to his farming capability and his ultimate)
Torturer (His insane lane control, good tower pushes, a good stun when hit well (which is easy thanks to his pull) and of course his insane ultimate)

I find Plague Rider to be effective as well. Being middle or solo works great with him, while you can land devastating ultimates with a low amount of cash.

For a more carrying style you should take a look at good semicarrys. Try to make a killer lane with Hammerstorm/Magmus and Valkyrie, where you play the valk, and you should be relative fine.

MoA is a great example of versitality as well. You can be a good semi/hard carry or be a very good support hero.


Runner ups for me include Aluna, one of the best lane controllers in game, and Ophelia, because she can stomp every game if played well.

One of the few non mid heroes who can have a huge impact on the game. Start in the enemy jungle and pseudo trilane hb bot or legion top and also gank mid a lot. You can easily win 2 lanes thanks to your ganks.

It's, in my opinion, by far Slither. He can fulfill any role (Support, Semi-carry, Baiter (also known as a "tank"), ganker) do good with any lane partner, can lane everywhere, can roam, have a vast choice of good items for him. If your team is more carry-oriented he gets defensive wards/toxicity, if it's more gank oriented he get Spray, if it's more push he maxes wards , etc.
He is in my opinion the most versatile hero in the game.
Oh, and this skin is awesome

People that suggested melee heroes forget that in solo TMM, your team always make their best to pick what doesn't synergise with you, and then you enjoy your 5 melee team
