I have a legacy account. Right after the hero load following selection of heroes, my game crashes. The same thing happens when i try to reconnect after a crash.
Here is a list of my computer specs:
- Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.2GHz
- Windows XP
- 1.99GB RAM
- No idea about a graphics card, whatever is automatically there.
I'm aware my computer is well down the slow end of what HoN will run on, but I played successfully for 2 years before I started having crash problems late November last year.
Here is a list of everything i've tried to fix the problem:
- added the /3GB term to my boot.ini
- played with my antivirus software totally disabled
- changed graphics driver from directX to openGL, after doing this i couldn't open HoN at all and had to reinstall
- redownloaded the game and reinstalled after deleting the Heroes of Newerth folder in My Docs (I did this multiple times)
- turned every graphics setting to the lowest possible setting
- played with sound totally disabled
Nothing at all has made any difference.
This is my console log:

And here is one of the many crash dumps:

Also I just thought it might be useful to add that i can play through the HoN tutorial no problem at all so the problem only occurs after loading during a MM/pub game.
thats what makes hon lose people when they dont respond us or help our issues
Check your RAM usage. If your RAM is maxed out (or near it) when it crashes, your going to need more of it.
Check for Windows updates and graphic cards updates. You have an Intel 82945G Express Chipset Family graphic card, so check Intel website for them.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah I am maxing out on RAM when I crash. I'll install some more and see how it goes.
I have an NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GTX/9800 GTX+, I have more than ample ram; and even though my game has run fine for the passed X years since the beta came out, and it all of a sudden won't run on my computer, it must be due to the ram? ValueForCash stated he's been playing it fine for X number of years. So basically, you just made an update for the game that made players unable to play the game, and you tell them to go fix it by upgrading their computer? What drugs are you on? Where is the real tech support... you have no staff and/or the staff you have is incompetent. Stop the charade; tell the people who play your game that you are awful programmers and stop leaving open a forum for technical support when you don't get around to any of the issues. I understand it's a holiday today, but there are many threads I've seen about this. with no answer. And if there is some thread with the answer about this somewhere, why didn't you sticky it?
