I've been playing around with Hellflower Madman some. At first I did it with HotBL but I found that it delayed Hellflower too much. Now I do it by buying Helm of the Victim with the first 950 I farm on lane, then upgrading Buckler for Iron Shield and then start buying the Arcana as I go and make Steams, complete whispering and then go for Shrunken after that with Savage as the big lategame damage. Extremely effective build if you can secure good farm on lane. If not, Whispering->Shrunken->Savage is my secondary choice.

ok,new thing since i am going nowhere i'm gonna start a new thread and ask all the questions there.
I love when people discuss builds completely unrelated to what you are facing. These builds tell you nothing except that the one who suggested them is not a professional player.
Ackwell saying that cleaver is a trash item and not to get it on magebane..... lol.... just.... lol
And when did I say that? If you could read you would see that I prefer early aggressive mb > mb with runed axe. I only said that runed is trash on mm because he can farm as fast with skills and be able to buy something useful for early game.
If you really dont have anything else to say here you shouldnt be posting crap like that..

It's an extremely good point, though at some point you just gotta use your own brain with it. And I'm actually disliking HotBL Magebane more and more, preferring to go for flash-farming instead if I can do that in any way. But it can be really hard against counters and impossible without a team that is able to support it.
