1. place my cast2.ogg file into heroes/vanya/ability_4/sounds
2. I use winrar to archive The heroes folder
3. i set it to a ZIP file and rename it to resources89.s2z
4. place it in program(86)/heroes of newerth/game
then when i try to see if the sound works with dark ladys ulti, there is no sound at all, its like i have removed the sound file. i have tried to take the Attack sound from behe and replace it so its called cast2 and set in the the vanya ability 4 folder, and still that doesnt work. i have tried to paste it directly into the resource0 folder and it STILL doesnt work. i know that the sound files work, what can be the problem ?
Well, i had that kind of problem too, but i figured it out what was the problem: wrong encrypting. I got it work when i downloaded 7zip, and when i'm making the file i put encrypting code to "AES-235" (close enough, you'll figure it out). That should do the trick.
