1. Demon's/Dark Souls
2. Fantasy General <----- Check this out, 5 bucks you haven't played it.
3. Guild Wars
Others that are almost as good, and have likely been mentioned:
Starcraft BW
Total Annihilation
Ragnarok Online
HoMM2+3
Vampire: Bloodlines (or something like that)
For me playing 4 player co-op Magicka has to be one of the funnest games I have played. As for my favourite that depends, Bastion ranks right up there simply because I have a soft spot for storylines.
S2 Games: Dedicated employees serving dedicated gamers. Continuous development. Never-ending improvement.

Final fantasy iv (snes) - best game of my life, played it maybe 100-200 times, really good music too.
Neverwinter nights (PC) - again played the story so many times then I made my own server for people who wanted to play the story together with more events and twists that I added.
Starcraft 2 - I think I have met 20+ new friends in real life simply by mentioning sc2 around them, also brought out my competitive side.
Okami, best gaming experience I ever had. It remains the best game I ever played and the only game I would call perfect.
FPS - Cod 4 modern warfare
MOba : HoN/Smite
RPG in WC3 : Slide NinjA Slide/warlock

No particular order, games I consider truely at the top:
Elite (BBC version, although the Archimedes version was the best)
X-Wing vs Tie Fighter
Half Life
Counterstrike
Mechcommander & Mechwarrior
X-Com
Hon/DOTA2
FF: Tactics
Wipeout 2097
Civilization
Making people rage for over 400 games
Leaving out the more obvious stuff like pokemon, resident evil, metal gear etc
Runescape - Oh, god. I played this a disgustingly long time. I loved the thrill of all-or-nothing PVP especially.
The Adventures of Link - my favourite game in the LoZ series
Star Wars: Jedi Knight 2 - my clan became my extended family, it was astounding how close we all became.
Starcraft 64 - played this on N64 obsessively before realizing it was a million times better on PC. Countless hours put into it.
WC3 - Custom games, all day erry day - caused me really bad sleeping issues
TES: Oblivion - I played this religiously on Xbox before becoming a 100% PC gamer, I had 1300 hours logged on Xbox with no mods. Literally ate up my entire Summer.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R - absolutely amazing game (with help) that has an awesome atmosphere and some of the most fun gameplay around.
Terraria - had tons of fun with this, great mix of action, adventure, building and loot-hunting
Mount&Blade - never managed to beat it even once, but damn, was it fun.

I looked thru all the posts to see if anyone posted my Favorite games of all time..please check it out
BRIGANDINE
~Legend of Forsena~
This game was/is originally for PS1, but now thru technology you can play it on emulators and such, it did not have a HUGE fan base, but it was made by Atlus and was by far the best game I've come in contact with..Why was it so fun for me and the die-hard niche fans? I guess the best answer is Charm. It just has good appealing atmosphere of game-play. Its a game you can re-play multiple times and still enjoy the game for what it is. It is a turn based RPG-SIM game. In short you have Castles, Knights, Monsters, alliances no alliances. Each country has the reason why their fighting in the revolution of Forsena and is very cool. You get caught up in the character development and play through's of each.
There is a cool forum here http://www.forsena.org/brigboard2/ that explains and can help you get/dl it etc.
Second to this game I'm also in love with is
Tactics Ogre
~Let us Cling Together~ (Psp version)
The reason I like this game is pretty much why I love Brigandine. This game is the only other game out there that is like Brigandine, but on crack haha. The character development is so huge in this game you could play it so many different ways and what you could/would/want get out of it. Not to mention it has all that nostalgia of swords, magic, heroes etc. Two best games that were so well made
On another note, FF9 was pretty awesome for me, any FF past that..was trash in my opinion..all the futuristic crap along with stupid females all over the place made me sick. All Blizzard games are also my favorite along with HoN.
I'll buy this game when Deathmatch works. GG NORE, @#$! I BOUGHT THIS GAME
In no particular order...
Heroes of Might and Magic 3: Every single faction in the game is broken in some way (Some more than others). I think this made it tons of fun though, as no matter what faction you were, you could exploit your strengths to no end and have tons of fun.
Warcraft 3: First introduction to online gaming, had tons of fun with it and its many custom maps.
Heroes of Newerth: I played a bit of DotA, so coming here I usually was able to hold my own in a game, even if it didn't turn out well in the end. Also run by the most responsive staff team I have ever seen.
Minions of Mirth: A cult MMO, had the single best community I've ever seen in a video game. As an example, the one and only time I saw some fool spamming chat with curse words, he was kindly told to be quiet for about 5 minutes, when he was muted. Nothing else resulted from it. No flame wars, no chaos, no nothing. Truly outstanding, and I wish I had realized this while I was playing it.
Chips Challenge: One of the first games I ever played. Finally figuring out the aptly named level "Totally Unfair" was one of my proudest moments, as not even my dad could beat it, and he was insanely good at that game.
MasterGeese, amateur hero designer and (mostly) support player, reporting in.
Check out my heroes here!
1) Wc3 I guess, not for the game itself (which was still fun for a good while) but for all the mods, I spent countless hours with EotA/Several TDs/Mauls/Hero arenas.
2) Guild wars Prophecies, up to now still the best PvP I've ever experienced in an MMO (and I played many)
3) Can't really think of a specific one, I greatly enjoyed hon when it was still in beta/first few months after release, unfortunately that fun kept declining to the point where I'm now only logging into the forums for the off-topic section from time to time.
1. Warcraft 3
2. HoN
3. Croc: Legend of Gobbos, just for nostalgic purposes
