One of my gaming buddies sent me this link about 20 minutes ago, he denies it's him. and frankly, I don't care.

But I watched this video 6 or 7 times and it's absolutely baffling to me, what the hell is the kid even doing? it's like whatever the hell he's holding is just dancing around like a living entity trying to escape his hand.

I didn't make it the video, and the supposedly clever replies so far haven't helped me wrap my head around it.

The movements are so precise, and drug paraphernalia or not, the way the guy moves it is ridiculous. I can't recreate anything like it myself, I wouldn't even know where to begin.

Watch 1:57-2:03 at exactly 2:00, he spins it counter clockwise between his fingers.

Maybe I'm just seeing something that isn't there? It seems like it's moving faster than it should be?

I don't even know how to explain it any better than I did earlier, it's bouncing around and he's immediately countering it's trajectory with what seems to be inhumanly precise manipulation of his fingers.

I sent the guy a message but haven't gotten a reply as to what's going on.

Think about it, that's an awfully critical review from someone who has been posting at least twice a day for the last 3 years on a video game forum.

I think there's a pretty substantial difference between what I do and what he's doing. I dont play video games to gain a special skill, I do it because I love video games. I post on forums because I appreciate discussion.

I guess at a party his talent could make him pretty popular if it really is impressive looking. From the video it doesn't look like he's doing anything that I couldn't do. He talks about the "perfect geometry" and stuff but I don't think he gets that twirling a lighter in your fingers isn't hard to do.
